Hello everyone,
After some 4 months, father drove the Omni and observed the following-
1.Steering was hard to turn at corners.
2.Car stopped at the middle of the road and refused to start few times.[cry]
3.He told to get the brake oil and other fluids changed.
He was disappointed with the performance of the car and told to get service done at MASS this week, probably this Saturday.
Now,I need to know to price of the following-
1.New Front bumper
2.New back bumper
3.Above the License plate, dont know what its called.
View attachment 201830
4.MGP steering cover
5.LHS sunshade
Thanks a lot in advance,
Both bumpers(plastic type) will cost you about Rs.1000 each. Its an estimate and approximate figure. The plastics which you have placed in circles will be cheap. I guess the one above number plate is called Garnish rear plate...kindly get yourself a parts manual-will help you a lot while procuring spares.

Shrijit, can you see the part number of "steering assembly", which costs 4900. I want to know what did they replace. May be it's d column assy. For the rims, if they are rusting again, get new ones. You will be tension free for another 15 yrs

Updating my thread after 2.5 years!
A lot has changed during this period. Here are the changes summarised.
January 2017-

The RHS door got dented in an accident. The dent is still present, Only some paint has been added to the damaged areas. The original headrests were also recovered during this time.
To be honest, the car was sparingly used in 2017 except for some small drives. But in December 2017, there was some starting problem with the car. First we got the battery charged, but still there was no response. So called the MASS who said that the dynamo was gone and the cost of repairing would be close to 25 k.The car was left as it was till May 2018,when we decided to take a second opinion.I consulted TAIger adil3996 and sumitsinha12.
Here's a picture in March 2018-

So called up a local garage, who inspected the car and came to the conclusion that alternator was all right, the battery was dead(it was 6 years old) and needed to be replaced, ignition coil and some other wires. The mechanic did an amazing job in repairing the car. After the repairs, the car was used a once or twice in a week.

October 2018-
