This is deplorable from FIAT, I expected the decals atleast to be on par with the Car shown in European Motor show but just a strip on each side with other stuff & not reducing the gear ratios to make it go faster at lower gears is simply isn't worth rushing to the dealer & booking one. Like someone said Raj has been saved from having a heart burn with no black roof

Rush to your nearest Skoda dealership and ask for the TD of a Laura vRS.
Now drive the car straight to 180 kph on a winding section of the expressway and you will find the difference between the regular TSI and vRS.
No change is in the suspension travel but springs are now stiffer.And I am sure i have mentioned 'only' stiffer suspension in my above post.

I take back my words buddy. A stupid Skoda SE had once told me that the Laura VRS is the same but comes with DRLs and side skirts.

Now, I confirmed with a friend and he told me that indeed the VRS comes with stiffer springs.

So-called Fiat Punto “Sports” includes the following updates:

> Outside Chrome Handles

> Premium Red Stitching on Seats

This was already there (is there in my car)...

> Door Scuff Plates

I got this fitted for Rs. 450/- from the FIAT dealer.

> Sporty Decals

> Chrome Exhaust Tip

> Sporty Metallic Pedals

And who wants these?

yup, we are sure there are no changes under the hood and the GC is same as the Punto 90 HP.

Took long TD of 2011 90hp today.

My observations--
By no means the car is underpowered.
3rd gear and above is good. After third gear the car becomes rocket.
ACC is a boon.
Also with two people on board the GC is sufficient.
Felt safe all the way on highway at high speeds. Better than my brothers altis.

After Monday the SE will bring new punto 90 hp sports for TD.
Price of new 90hp as per SE was close to 8.55K OTR Pune. Which is much more than expected. However we get good quality car with all bells and whistles.
Fiat should have had given 16" alloys for this sport variant.
