We have developed an Air Intake Revision (AIR) kit for the Punto 1.2 and were awaiting a chance to lay our hands on one to test its performance.

We tested the Punto with the AIR at KS Motorsports
The results were amazing.

How we tested:

1. Test runs on the Stock car by the owner - he was not satisfied with the lack of power in the car
2. Installed the AIR and did few more test runs
3. Reverted back onto the stock air box and put the car on the rolling road - dyno
4. Did several runs on the dyno and used the best dyno run for reference.
5. Added the AIR again and did several runs on the dyno using the best for reference.

Before AIR - stock peak power 49.48 @ 5500rpm

After AIR - peak power 58.14 @5750 rpm

This is because the ECU has not adapted as yet to all changes, which takes a bit more time. ECU has to go through a learning phase.
As time goes on the power improves slightly more, when the long term fuel trim is adjusted fully to the addition.

@dodge_v1per: The price for the Punto 1.2 AIR is Rs.11,600 + VAT. Comes with the standard warranty.

The ECU Remaps start at Rs 21,000/-

We do have packages for clients who would like to get both the upgrades at the same time.

An ECU remap consists of modification of different parameters of the vehicle.
All the parameters are studied and modified by qualified performance tuners who have many years of experience in this field. It requires several hours of testing. Our R&D works hard to provide you a reliable remap, that will not have any adverse effect on your vehicle.
As far as the cost are concerned, ours is a very competitive cost as compared to competition. 21k is pretty much the cheapest one can find. A lot of people ask for 30 and more.
We are the only company which also believes in the quality of our products and hence we offer money back guarantee on all our products. There may be some company providing a cheaper product but so will be the quality. What you pay is what you get. We are the only company who is ready to stand by our claims and are ready to prove that our products work by conducting before and after acceleration test.
Even then if you are not satisfied then we have a 1 week money back guarantee.

Mind you a re-map is not just a bit of software being downloaded. It requires time to read, write and alter the mapping tables. The equipment used also costs a lot.
