As of now, we have quite a few Mercedes Benz Teams in F1!!!
2010 F1 Scene is expected on these lines
Mercedes GP (Ex Brawn GP) - Works Mercedes Team
Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes - Semi Works Mercedes Team (Upto 2015)
Force India - Customer Mercedes Engines
Red Bull Racing - Possibly might convert to Mercedes From Renault Engines (Still Negociating)

As for Ferrari - things not expected to look so good for 2010 season, prime reason being the car (as per insider info) not so competitive with full race fuel load (Remember Mid Race Refueling Banned in 2010), but then even the rest of the F1 teams should be affected by this, so question marks, yet the 2010 Ferrari should be way better than this years car, as development started & full efforts poured in quite early this year for 2010 car.

Eagerly waiting to see whether the new teams can outperform some of the established teams in F1, next year should be fun[thumbswink]

Daimler Takes Full Control of Mercedes Formula One Team

Daimler bought a 40% stake in the Mercedes Formula One motor racing team, taking its full control.

In March 2009 Aabar purchased 9% stake in the German manufacturer after financial markets collapsed, also acquiring 40% of the Mercedes Formula One team as part of the deal.

Daimler has bought the 40% stake from Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Aabar Investments. The selling of stake was an expected move coming from Aabar, which has cut its ties with Daimler. On October 5th, Aabar’s Abu Dhabi-owned parent International Petroleum Investment sold its last 3.1% holding in the automaker.

Mercedes is the 5th in the 12-team Formula One standings, with a race to go each season until 2020. Next season the automaker will hire former world champion Lewis Hamilton signing with him a three-year-deal for 45 million pounds ($71.3 million). Hamilton, who won on Sunday the US Grand Prix, is expected to bring Mercedes a dash of glamour.

Last month Daimler announced it will not be able to meet its target for this year with about 1 billion euro ($1.27 billion), due to the sluggish European market. In 2011 the Mercedes team reached an annual budget of 125 million pounds, including its own cash reserves, sponsorship and commercial revenues.

Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team signs technology deal with Tata Communications

As part of its global expansion plans, Tata Communications has carved a deal with Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team. It becomes the ‘Official Managed Connectivity Supplier’ to the team.

Mercedes AMG Petronas and Tata Communications shook hands to deliver trackside connectivity for the team at all F1 race locations using the Tata Communications’ global network. Tata Communications will work closely with the team to deliver high-speed (1 TB per second), high quality and secure trackside connectivity, enabling the team to transfer vital real-time data from the Silver Arrow cars at any Grand Prix location to its headquarters at Brackley and Brixworth in the UK, three times faster than at present! The improved trackside connectivity will enable the team to react more quickly to increase the cars’ performance.
“We are delighted to have agreed our new team partnership with Tata Communications. The Tata Communications global network will play a key role in the team’s performance and our ability to react over the race weekends,” commented team principal, Mercedes AMG Petronas, Ross Brawn on the occasion.

Mercedes, who had no championship success since returning to F1 in 2010, is striving to achieve top honors as the team has been completely restructured for 2013. This is not the first time that Tata is associated with the pinnacle of four wheeled motorsports.
Tata Consultancy Services struck a sponsorship deal with Scuderia Ferrari back in 2009. The deal between the two companies came as a natural progression of their 3-year partnership.
As Hispania entered F1, Tata Motors continued backing Narain Karthikeyan and remained a loyal sponsor until the team demised at the end of last season. The conglomerate’s perseverance to promote Tata Communication Services, one of many business units in the Tata’s fold, as a global brand paid off as a multi-year technology service and marketing agreement with Formula One management was signed before the start of last season.
The agreement has seen the Indian firm delivering world-class connectivity to all F1 race venues over its global network. It is providing hosting and content delivery services to F1′s official site, Formula1.com.
