Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Achieves New Milestone As Sales Cross 5.5 Lakh Units


Maruti Suzuki says the Ertiga has been the section chief for the previous two years

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was an on the spot hit since its arrival in 2012 and the MPV has now achieved a brand new milestone with gross sales crossing 5.5 lakh models. The landmark determine was achieved in eight years because the first technology went on sale in 2012. Maruti Suzuki says that the MPV has managed to take care of market management during the last two years within the section. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was initially supplied in petrol and diesel engine choices, together with a CNG variant. Nevertheless, the diesel model was discontinued following the transition to BS6 norms. It is also the one MPV within the section to get a CNG variant at current.

Maruti Suzuki Expands Car Subscription Programme To Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad And Gandhinagar


Maruti Suzuki India has announced launching its car subscription business, Maruti Suzuki Subscribe, in four new cities - Mumbai (including Navi Mumbai and Thane), Chennai, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. So far, the company's special car subscription programme was only available in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune. This time too, the Maruti Suzuki India has partnered with Orix Auto Infrastructure Services, to offer this service, which allows individual customers to use a brand-new car by paying an all-inclusive monthly fee, rather than purchasing the vehicle. The monthly fee also covers maintenance and insurance for the complete tenure.

Maruti Suzuki Subscribe: WagonR, Ignis and S-Cross now available for subscription

India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) today announced that it has added additional models like S-Cross, Ignis and WagonR to its Maruti Suzuki Subscribe vehicle subscription program.
“Subscription has become more affordable with the inclusion of Wagon R in Maruti Suzuki ARENA and Ignis in NEXA,” MSI said in a statement.

The automaker said that customers will pay an all-inclusive monthly subscription charge starting Rs 12,722/- for Wagon R Lxi and Rs 13,772/- for Ignis Sigma in Delhi (including taxes) for a tenure of 48 months.

The automobile giant had launched the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe scheme last year across major cities like Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad, with its models Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Ertiga from its ARENA retail chain and Baleno, Ciaz, and XL6 from NEXA network.

The scheme allows customers to use a brand-new car without owning it. The customer needs to pay an all-inclusive monthly fee that covers maintenance, 24×7 roadside assistance and insurance for the complete tenure.

The plan comes with tenure options of 24, 36, and 48 months, as per the customer’s choice and after the completion of subscription tenure, the customer can also opt to extend, upgrade the vehicle, or buy the car at market price, Maruti Suzuki said.

Maruti Suzuki launches India’s first multi-financier, online car financing platform in NEXA


Maruti Suzuki India Limited today launched the Smart Finance service for NEXA customers across 30 cities. With the launch of ‘Smart Finance’, Maruti Suzuki has become India’s first OEM to offer an online, end-to-end, real time car finance service facility.

A first-of-its-kind initiative, Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance will offer comprehensive finance solution online. It aims to simplify and digitalise the customer’s car buying journey with a bouquet of financing options.
Undeterred by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Company continues to invest in new technologies and systems to simplify the car buying journey and provide delight at each stage. This initiative strengthens the digitisation efforts and offers enormous flexibility to the customers.

Smart Finance platform is currently hosted on www.nexaexperience.com and will offer customers the convenience of a ONE-STOP-SHOP for their entire vehicle finance needs. The services include choosing the right finance partner, selecting the best suited loan product, completion of all the finance related formalities and disbursal of the loan, with just a few clicks. The NEXA website will act as a facilitator between the customer and the financier providing wide variety of choices on the loan offers, real time status updates and in turn providing a hassle free and transparent financing solution.

Speaking on the new initiative, Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India said, “We have always explored unique ways to assist our customers in their car buying journey. Under the Smart Finance platform, currently hosted on the NEXA website, we have partnered with several popular financiers to provide custom curated personalized loan offers for our customers. This digital service offers easy financing options and is completely transparent at each stage of the loan process. Among other advantages, the customer gets to customize the EMI, by choosing the loan tenure and interest rate and select a preferred down-payment scheme.”

The customer is able to compare multiple scenarios for his car loan and make an informed choice of loan partner, loan tenure etc.

For this Maruti Suzuki has currently partnered with eight financiers: HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Cholamandalam Finance, AU Small Finance Bank, Mahindra Finance and Kotak Mahindra Prime. Subsequently, the Company will on-board other key financiers. The improved transparency around the loan offers and related charges empowers the customer to make a good decision in a very convenient manner.

Customer centricity has always been the key mantra for Maruti Suzuki. The pilot for Smart Finance was carried out in Gurugram and feedback was gathered from the customers to improve the user interface to provide a seamless and delightful customer experience.

The Smart Finance service is now available for NEXA customers, for salaried employees, in 30 cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Cochin, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Goa, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Surat, Vadodara, Ranchi, Raipur, Nagpur, Trivandrum, Vishakhapatnam, Udaipur, Kanpur, Vijayawada, and Dehradun.

Progressively, it will be offered for the ARENA customers, addition of new financiers, inclusion of self- employed profiling and extension to new cities in this digital finance journey.

Nope, the quality and reliability are different.
Several cost cuttings are there in MS- MS gives tender to different vendors for different parts, while ones sold outside India, have 60-70% parts made by Suzuki itself.

New Delhi, April 13, 2021: For the fourth consecutive year, India’s five top selling cars come from Maruti Suzuki stable. These include Swift at the number one position with over 1.72 lakh units, followed by Baleno with 1.63 lakh units. The tall boy WagonR grabbed the third position with 1.60 lakh units while Alto and Dzire finished fourth and fifth with 1.59 lakh units and 1.28 lakh units respectively. These blockbuster models contributed to almost 30% of the overall passenger vehicle sales in FY 2020-21.

With a continued support from customers Maruti Suzuki vehicles have taken all the top 5 selling spots in India since 2017-18. Alto, WagonR, Swift, Baleno and Dzire have been the top 5 selling vehicles for all these 4 years. Alongside, Maruti Suzuki models have captured all the 4 top selling slots in the country for over a decade.

Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said “We are thankful to our customers for their continued trust in Maruti Suzuki. 2020 brought in fresh challenges to the economy but customer’s trust remained unchanged. Nope, the quality and reliability are different.

So is Maruti Suzuki fully Japanese or is it partly Indian? And which aspects of it are Japanese?

Maruti Suzuki India To Increase Car Prices In Q2 FY2022

Maruti Suzuki India will increase prices of its vehicles in the second quarter of FY2022. The country's largest carmaker officially announced the same through a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). However, the company is yet to disclose the quantum of the hike. The Indian carmaker has cited an increase in input cost as the primary reason for the price hike and has decided to pass on some impact of the additional cost to the customers. The amount will vary for different models.

Maruti Suzuki Expands Car Subscription Plan To Four New Cities


Maruti Suzuki is expanding its 'Subscription' services to four new cities- Jaipur, Indore, Mangalore and Mysore taking it to a total of 19 cities in which it will be offering its subscription plan. MSIL has launched a marketplace model for Maruti Suzuki Subscribe that will serve as a unified platform to offer customised car subscription products through multiple partners. The carmaker will offer products to its customers through three subscription partners- Orix Auto, ALD Automotive and Myles. Moreover, Maruti is also providing a choice of choosing between white or black registration plates, in a bid to offer further flexibility to the car ownership experience.

Maruti Suzuki Introduces Online Car Financing Service Across India

Maruti Suzuki India has launched a new online smart car finance service where customers can get their cars financed without doing rounds to the dealership or any bank. Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance is available for both Arena and Nexa buyers across dealerships in India. Maruti Suzuki was one of the first carmakers in India to introduce multi financier (with 14 financiers on board) and end-to-end online car financing solution with real-time loan status tracking. The program was launched as a pilot project in limited cities last year in December 2020 itself and has seen over 25 lakh customer visits already.
