There was some sound coming from the left side over potholes. Didn't know they will charge 1250rs labor for that small part. I think they deliberately attached the wrong labor amount for the 4th item.

As far as I saw on YouTube videos changing that particular mount isn't that time consuming as changing both the arms. Am i right ?
I got the car delivered at home so couldn't get an explanation from the adviser. Please suggest.

Also they changed the driver side mirrors switch for some reason. Advisor told me that some window was not operating with the switch so they changed the switch under warranty. I just think that they will just sell off the part in the market by showing it was fixed in my car.

Also got the car dry cleaned and polished using the coupons they gave me the previous time.

I am currently in LEH.
Car performed without any problems with two people on board.
Towards the end of moore plains(4800 meters height) I stopped for 5 minutes and when I started the car I felt a judder from the engine.
At tanglan la pass ( 5300 meters) I again stopped for 5 minutes and when I started the car , the engine started juddering vigorously. I pressed the accelerator and there was no power , I saw lots of bluish white smoke coming from the exhaust. This happened for about thirty seconds.
I reached leh after this without any problem (no unusual smoke, no power loss) but with loads of tension on my mind.
It was all downhill from that pass.

I visited the maruti service centre and they didn't have any solutions to this. They just kept on insisting to change the fuel filter , clean the air filter and the intercooler. According to them my car is not accelerating on steep slopes but i didnt have any problem going uphill.

My FNG mechanic told me it's because of low air density and low oxygen levels and the sensors got confused or didnt get good amount of air when I started the car again.

I am ok with them changing the filters but should I tell them to clean the intercooler too ?
I am confused because they didnt seem to know much.
99% i am not letting them open the intercooler.

A lot of times the ECU is not calibrated for extreme atmospheric parameters. This is a firmware issue rather than hardware. A lot of cars will throw Check engine lights at higher attitudes but continue to function properly. I with manufacturers did better homework and the EMS has proper software profiles to deal will all kinds of situations. (Eg Low oxygen)

@VISHNUCARCRAZY - leh maruti ass suggested me to clean the intercooler.

@bhvm - you are correct. A hotel neighbour told me the same thing that his Isuzu have a check engine light and when he contacted the company they said it's normal and it will go away as you go down.

Anyways I just got the air filter cleaned and I didn't turn off the car on higher altitudes and car didn't give me any trouble.

Although car behaved the same at higher altitudes - giving less power sometimes but it didn't stop anywhere.

Paid 9000rs[thumbsdown] after 1000rs discount.
Figo's service was never above 7k including all of the above items.
Labor was 2500rs after the 1000rs discount.
Parts were 5200rs. Rest is tax.

Got the service done in front of myself just to make sure if all the parts are indeed changed or just billed.
At 60k they also clean the EGR valve.

It is 5W30, from my knowledge also. For petrol K series it is 0W20, and new petrol engines they recommend OW16. Suzuki simply changes the oil spec each year, for improving mileage. I am pretty sure long term reliability of engine is compromised. Only thing I do is I change oil every 6k kms than 10k kms. Atleast it gets fresh oil rather than running with low viscous oil.

@mayankdixit - it's 5w30 as per Maruti. But my car already had a cocktail of engine oils in the first three services and i decided to fix it at 5w40.
And i don't think it will have any adverse impact if I keep changing engine oil at 10k mark. And like Vishnu said it's not good that they keep on changing engine oil grade every year.
@VISHNUCARCRAZY - with improved engine technology and engine oil quality I think any oil will last 10k kms easily. Just my suggestion.

Two other things that I wanted to share.
1. I asked the advisor to open the radiator and get it serviced thoroughly since I have never got it cleaned and even coolant has not been changed.
He politely denied saying we don't do that service so asked him to keep the coolant as it is in the car. (For warranty reasons he suggested to get it billed)

2. I came back home after all the Mechanical things were done and got the car delivered at home.
I got 25% discount coupon from this SC when they stole the dash camera.
Advisor sent me the bill and the conversation says " you asked me for 25% discount , i have given you 30%" [thumbsup]

Although this was indeed a good gesture but with all of my service center experience I always think they don't deal in good faith.
