The result has come out to be magnificent. That shows a lot of hard work has been put in and in the end the result is just WOW. kudos brother happy miles ahead on this.
Thanks a lot for appreciating my work..

Hi,
Appreciate your good work on the old beauty.. I havent driven an Automatic 800..
Can you update about the drive qualities of your car.
thanks... if you have driven the normal 800.. you will be amazed to drive this tiny little car with AutoGb.. ideal for city drive , car have low initial pick-up compared to normal 800 rest every thing is same

@Adil:
I bumped at this thread in the afternoon (see the time of thumbs up) and the thing that hooked me was 'automatic'; and then I read it complete, word by word; picture by picture.

Never knew if this thingy ever existed but now I am very much surprised to see it doing duty with you.

Appreciations for the work you have done, its just outstanding. Btw what type of gearbox it is and what is the FE of this vehicle? Will you please take a minute out of your time to explain us how this one is different from regular M800s'?
Thanks.. FE in city 10km/k

Awesome work , Adil. The painted AUTOMATIC stiker is really stunning.Your car is so neat and tidy.
Thanks a Ton[:D]

Wow, Nicely restored car. Loved the detailing. Kudos to you man. Is that headlights are new? otherwise get a pair of new lights to get the complete Just out the factory look.
Thanks Bro
I have to change the lights front and rear.. will get it after paint work done[:)]

@Adil an excellent piece of art, If i remember correctly maruti used to supply these automatics on order in the 90's, mainly for the handicapped, (for tax benefits i suppose) and those had a sticker on the rear windshield as such.

To avail the tax benefit one had to get a Govt. Hospital certificate
Thanks Sir
yes you are right [:)]
Adil, are the door pads and tyres original?
BTW,WHY The LEFT FRONT DOOR shade is not matching with the car?
Door pads are original till date, Tyres have been changed by previous owner
Left rear door have been painted that's the reason for shade difference

ow, revelation. I never knew Maruti 800 had an automatic version. Thanks a lot for enlightenment. I sold my Maruti 800 a few years back. Smart little car. was easy to drive and park and also on the pocket.
