Mahindra KUV100 Gear Shows "N" While Driving

My 2017 mahindra kuv100 k8 goes into Neutral while driving, then the speedometer drops to zero and even the radio goes softer.

Dealers can not find the problem. I can feel the power is less but can still drive and come back into gear ratio by itself.

Hi,
First thing is to check the battery condition. Must be checked with a full range automated discharge tester not just a simple volt meter. If it is over 3 years old change it anyway. I work in a garage as a vehicle mechanic in the UK. The highest number of "electrical" issues are caused by defective batteries/charging faults and bad connections.
Have it code read, record faults.
Clear codes.
Go for a drive, if problem returns. Code read again and post the error codes.
May just be a battery issue. If not probably wiring or sensor/module fault.

I want to know if you could find the fault of your car showing N while you drive.
Mine started to do the same. The speedometer will go 'crazy' left, right, left and then go to a standstill at zero. In my case, I have to stop turn the car off and then restart again before I can go further. My car is currently at a service centre and they let me know that they can't find the fault. Any help will be great.

Hi Jaco, did not find the problem yet. My car is going for a service next month in January, and I will state it here if they find the problem.

i cleanded and tested the reverse light switch, it works
i replaced the neutral light switch, still the same, now they want to sell me a speedo sensor.

Hi there, my car went in for service 2nd

week in Feb. They replaced the speed sensor and gear switch and the problem is solved. Attached my invoice with the part numbers.
