M&M Cevalo Ready to Launch.
M&M entry into the two wheeler race is accelerated with one more strong build – SYM 125cc- to be ready for launch in 2010. This will be added to the queue of Mahindra Flyte, Mahindra Duro and Mahindra Rodeo in the Indian roads. The bike will be on display in the forthcoming Auto Show in Delhi. The bike will be offering 125cc and 15bhp power, 4 valve, air cooled and electronic fuel injection system. The posture will be unique and distinctive from the likes of Apache, Yamaha FZ 16, and Bajaj Pulsar 150. Other components – tail, doom and petrol tanks- will be in the form of sporty manner. M&M’s presence in the two wheeler market is not as much as penetrating – its scooters run well but not upto the level of Honda Activa or Honda Unicorn.

After a good response in scooter segment, Mahindra Two-Wheelers is expected to come out with its 125cc Cevalo motorcycle in India, replicating Yamaha’s success and even moving a step-further. Its contemporary styling and simple chassis design approach make it attractive to look at.

This naked beauty, with a muscular tank and sporty aesthetics, certainly looks better than FZ-S, or for that matter, any 150cc bike available in India including Pulsar and Apache. On one hand, the split-seat guarantees comfort and on the other, easy to maneuver. Its huge tires provide more stability to its design with its add-on attractive stylish alloys.

This 125cc engine provides 15 Bhp of peak power with SOHC, 4- Valve, air-cooled and electronic fuel injection. The 17 Inch wheels have wide tires of Rear- 140/60 and Front 110/70, with simple Mono-Shock Absorbing Suspension geometry.

The Exhaust endows it with a “power bike” look to this mechanically advanced aerodynamic masked bike. A gear-indicator and a clock brings some extra bit of information on the go.

Stepping into the league of 125 cc segment, i.e. one of the largest motor-cycle segments of India, will certainly win the hearts of Indian customers right on the first look pushing them to buy one for themselves. source - indiamotorsblog
