Mahindra has dicontinued it's flagship SUV Alturas G4.

Mahindra has discontinued its Alturas G4 in India. The full-size SUV is now longer listed on the company’s website. Mahindra & Mahindra has also halted the SUV’s bookings in the country. For those unaware, Mahindra Alturas G4 was the company’s most expensive SUV. It was developed in partnership with Korean automaker SsangYong. The position will now be honoured by Mahindra XUV 700.

With Mahindra and Ssangyong splitting ways under a new owner, it may not be economical any more to import kits and assemble here as numbers too are quite low. But the car had quite a good road presence.
Mahinda should also have got the Korando as a Creta rival atleast a year ago, would have made a good impact as Creta - Seltos have had an undisputed monopoly in their category.
