LML which made it re-entry in Indian after a long lock-out in 2011. The company has since then launched the NV 150 and its derivatives. The company now plans to launch a new ungeared scooter. As per our sources, LML may consider to launch the Sensation scooter with an automatic transmission to take on the likes of Honda Activa, Suzuki Access and Mahindra Duro.

The launch will happen close to the festive season and we expect it to be launched in November.

The Sensation draws its looks from the famous Vespa which once ruled the scooter market. The retro styled scooter will attract a certain class of buyers. The automatic scooter will be powered by either a 100cc or 125cc engine and the focus will be on mileage.

LML will give the scooter some styling tweaks which includes: chrome mirrors, new digital odometer, self start and chrome embellishments on the front & rear panels. We can expect a reflector type headlight and wishfully LED tail lights.

LML is also working on a strong strategy and plans to launch motorcycles and more products. LML had tied up with Daelim initially and launched a slew of motorcycles. Energy, Adreno and Graptor where launched in the deluxe and premium segment while the Freedom and CRD100 had a good presence in the entry segment.

LML Sensation was always good looking scooter, good to hear that company is planning to relaunch it, hope they dont change the looks of the scooter , only thing to see how do they price the scooter.

Never understood why old 2 stroke LML Sensation was not a hit product. maybe because our market was not mature as today.

good news buddy..so LML is back in 'real action'!. They should relaunch its old workhorse 'Freedom' and the Pulser rival 'Beamer'. Beamer was really a good looking bike when it was launched, for me better than pulsar.
