Of course nothing is official just yet, but a new report coming from Automobile Magazine online has provided some interesting clues as to what we can expect from Lamborghini in just the next few years.Beginning with the Aventador, we'll likely see the Roadster version unveiled this January at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Unlike the Murcielago's soft top, the Aventador Roadster will have two removable panels that should be easier to work with.

At Geneva next March, the Aventador GT concept should debut. Now, this is where it gets interesting. According to Automobile, the Aventador GT is "top secret" at the moment, but it will likely feature an "extended wheelbase, two small rear jump seats, and a different door concept," meaning there will likely be suicide doors for rear seat access. We don't know much else about it at the moment, but the Aventador GT will probably be styled less aggressively than its coupe counterpart. It's not a done deal that it'll make production because Lamborghini still needs to figure out whether there's a real market for a car like this.

The Aventador SV, on the other hand, should be coming in 2014 with a total of 750hp over the "standard" 700. After the Aventador's mid-life refresh in 2015, the SV will likely increase to 770hp.The Sesto Elemento will also be coming to production, albeit very limited in numbers. Just 20 units are expected at a price of "just under two million Euros."It won't be street legal and all of the planned cars have already been spoken for (seriously) by current and wealthy Lamborghini owners. With its V10 engine on hand, it'll be able to hit 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 219 mph.

The aging Gallardo will receive a facelift at Paris this September, but the real deal, the third-generation, will be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. We doubt it'll be called Gallardo, but like its next-generation Audi R8 corporate cousin, it'll ride on VW's all-new modular sports car system architecture. It'll also drop some weight and accelerate to 62 mph in about 3.4 seconds. Top speed should be around 203 mph and fuel economy will improve by as much as 15 percent.Last up is the Urus production SUV. Revealed in concept form earlier this year, Lamborghini is targeting a $215,000 base price with an annual sales goal of 3,000 units.

It'll be based on the same architecture as the next Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, and even the upcoming Bentley SUV. Yes, these brands are all under the VW umbrella. However, the Urus won't arrive until 2016, but its design will be quite distinctive from those other premium SUVs. Power will likely be a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 600hp.Get all of that? Good, because Lamborghini is serious about bringing all of these cars to production in a quest to expand their lineup. It's going to be a great time watching all of this play out.

Lamborghini Opens Development Building for Prototypes and Pre-series Vehicles

Automobili Lamborghini has opened their latest building designed specifically for the development of prototypes and pre-series vehicles. The new structure is the first multi-story industrial building in Italy to earn Class A energy certification.
Attending the ceremony were Corrado Clini, Minister of the Environment, Land and Sea; Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini; Paola Gazzolo, Regional Councillor for Territorial Security of Emilia-Romagna; and Daniela Occhiali, Mayor of Sant’Agata Bolognese, as well as numerous distinguished dignitaries and officials.

On the second floor of the building, a “mini” assembly line with advanced technical solutions has been set up to duplicate the entire range of assembly steps performed on a standard production line. The miniature line will be used to study the steps in assembling pre-series models.
The same line can be used to build a small series of vehicles such as the Sesto Elemento technological demonstrator introduced at the Paris Motor Show, with 20 units being produced as a limited edition.

Lamborghini to unveil its Ferrari F12 slayer at Geneva?

Lamborghini has announced that there will be a brand new raging bull debuting at the Geneva Motor Show this March.

We brought you the news earlier that the new Lamborghini would be the most powerful raging bull ever. Autocar.co.uk reports that the car will be pitted against the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.

Mr. Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini told Autocar.co.uk that the supercar maker will tear wraps off “something truly extraordinary that’s based on the V12″ at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. According to Mr. Winkelmann, the latest Lambo will have two doors and two seats but will not be based on the Aventador platform.

The new car could be a front engined V12 GT which would directly compete with the Ferrari F12. The supercar is expected to feature a forged carbon fiber construction and four wheel drive. These are absolutely necessary for it to be a modern day Lamborghini supercar.

The new V12 bull is expected to have more than 700 bhp at its disposal making it the fastest one ever made.

This is an apt way to celebrate the 50th year anniversary of building super cars.

Autocar.co.uk reports that the car that will be brought to Geneva will be a concept for future consideration and not a production model.

Buddies, An Old thread being revived!![:)]

Ahead of the Geneva Motor Show next month, Aventador's SV (Super Veloce) Prototype has been spied testing in Italy.

The model is expected to feature an updated V12 6.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with more than 720 HP. Chances are the Italian company will reveal the hardcore model during the Geneva Motor Show in March, but there’s also the possibility for a premiere in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Lamborghini may consider to bring out a cheaper super car!

Lamborghini should also invest in smaller super sports segment (including price) in the coming years. During an interview, the CEO of the Italian automaker, Stephan Winkelmann, revealed that the company is considering launching a model to rival the new 570S McLaren's being presented to the public in the Hall of New York until the 12th.
According to the executive, the new supercar should arrive in the coming years to steal the place of Huracán as line input model of Lamborghini. There are no details about the fireball, but its price should be around US $ 200 thousand yet - for comparison, the new McLaren is already being offered for $ 184,900, while the Ferrari can be released by US $ 180 thousand in 2019.

Automobili Lamborghini unveils the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Carmel, Calif. 14th August 2015 – Automobili Lamborghini unveils the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster in occasion of the Monterey Car week in California. The Roadster, presented at the famous event ‘The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering’, is available in a limited series of 500 units worldwide and is the first series-produced, open-top Lamborghini to bear the name Superveloce . “The Superveloce is the purest, most sports-oriented and fastest series production Lamborghini ever. The Roadster version represents our commitment to satisfying our passionate clients with immensely emotional driving dynamics combined with an extraordinary open air experience,” Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said during the press conference at The Quail.

As a member of Lamborghini’s storied Superveloce family, the car offers greater performance with a power increase of 50 hp to 750 hp and a dry weight of 1,575 kg (3,472 lb), that is 50 kg (110 lbs) lighter compared to the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster. This leads to an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of just 2,1 kg/hp (4,6 lb/hp). The Roadster maintains the coupe’s breathtaking acceleration, sheer power and handling prowess. In an enhancement to the Superveloce coupé experience, the Superveloce Roadster’s features a power rear window that allows the free-flowing engine sound to fill the cabin with invigorating tones and harmonics during spirited driving. The naturally aspirated, 6.5-liter V12 produces 552 kW (750 hp) at 8,400 rpm and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) happens in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of more than 350 km/h (> 217 mph). Lamborghini’s highly innovative 7-speed ISR transmission delivers an incomparably emotional gear shift and transfers the engine’s power to all four wheels through a Haldex Generation IV 4WD system. Of course, as in the SV coupé the car takes advantage of adaptive Magneto Rheological Suspension, a pushrod damping system and Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) for improved driving dynamics.

And as with the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, the SV Rodster comes with a two-piece hardtop made from carbon fiber featuring technologies such as RTM and Forged Composite®, which deliver a perfect surface finish, allow complex design shapes and the highest possible component stiffness combined with extremely low weight. Thus, the two roof parts each weigh less than six kilograms (13.2 lb) and can be stowed easily in the luggage compartment. They provide the perfect complement to the monocoque, which is entirely made from carbon fiber. Deliveries of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Rodster begin in early 2016 with base pricing of 357,000.00 Euros (excl. VAT) or USD 530,075.00 MSRP.

Buddies,

Here are the spy pics of 2017 Lamborghini Aventador Facelift!

Brandishing a nip (new headlights, bumpers and bonnet are clearly visible beneath that swirly tape) as well as a tuck (different tail-lights, diffuser, and spoilers as part of a revamped aero package for improved downforce) the changes are just enough to keep Project LB834 fresh against rivals such as the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, McLaren 675LT, and Bentley Continental GT Speed.
