The Kymco Krider 400 has made its official debut in the global markets, and this bike will directly compete with the KTM Duke 390.

The Krider 400 is powered by a 399cc parallel-twin engine that produces 43.5bhp and 37Nm and serves as a stressed element in the Truss steel tube frame. While these values are comparable to those of the 390 Duke, the KTM has a weight advantage. The Kymco weighs 205 kg, whereas the KTM only weighs 171 kg.

The Krider 400, on the other hand, is equipped with preload-adjustable USD forks and a seven-step adjustable rear mono-shock. Its braking system has a 300mm dual-disc arrangement in the front and a 240mm disc in the rear, as well as dual-channel ABS as standard.

Both bikes have LED illumination, whether it’s in the headlight, turn indicators, or tail light. The KTM has a split, vertically stacked LED unit, whilst the Kymco has a falcon-styled headlamp. The Kymco Krider 400’s instrument cluster is a great looking LCD panel; however, the KTM has a highly intuitive TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, giving the Austrian the feature advantage.
