Keeping Car Covered in Sun - Good or Bad?

Choose the right car cover first

My friends Merc had one of these car covers made by Dupont,it has microscopic pores which let out vapour,hence getting rid of trapped moisture & heat but was water proof,most of the other car covers are just an eye wash ,a friend had purchased an old Palio,when i saw its roof,i realized the car cover was trapping water & destroying the paint so sun light is not the only way your paint will fade or be destroyed,so choose wisely next time.

Any day a covered parking is good

My sierra do stand in hot sun all the day.

Manza has a superb parking all the 5 sides surrounded by wall and one side gate!

I think we could could post the pictures of the parking spot in this thread.

I completely agree with Ilango. A covered parking any day helps in protecting the body lustre which gets faded due to direct sunlight. Further more, the interiors too loose their finish when exposed to direct light.
