Jeep Grand Cherokee (2022): Launch Date Postponed

SUV maker Jeep will pull the wraps off the fifth-generation Grand Cherokee two-row SUV on September 29, 2021, including a 4xe hybrid plug-in variant. The carmaker says the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be the most technologically advanced, luxurious and 4x4-capable Grand Cherokee yet. The SUV was expected to make its world debut at the 2021 New York Auto Show, but the plans were dropped after the motor show was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jeep has made it official that India is the only market in the world (outside North America) where Grand Cherokee will be assembled.

Jeep Grand Cherokee (2022) will come with a 2.0L Turbo-Petrol, 8-Speed Automatic Transmission, Quadra-Trac I 4x4 System and Selec-Terrain Traction Management System.

Jeep has commenced the production of the 5th generation Grand Cherokee in India. Pre-bookings are now open with deliveries scheduled to start by the end of this month.

Jeep Grand Cherokee will be equipped with a full suite of Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) and 110+ safety features including Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning and Pedestrian Emergency Braking.

Some other highlights are 10” Heads-up Display, 10.1" Touchscreen Radio, 10.25" Instrument Cluster Panel, Segment-First 10.25" Front Passenger Interactive Display, Capri Leather Seats, Quadra-Trac I 4x4 System.
