Isuzu Announces 8 Year/ 2 Lakh Km Warranty On The MU-X SUV

Carmakers in India are going all out, as regards offers are concerned, to make sure that the minds, of the customers buying their products, are at ease. And this means bringing out comprehensive warranty offers. We've already seen Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Nissan, coming out with big offers as far as warranty and service is concerned. Isuzu Motors, now, has come out with an 8-year/200,000 kms warranty on the MU-X SUV.

Under this warranty scheme, Isuzu will offer 3 years extended warranty on powertrain in addition to the 5 years comprehensive warranty & free periodic maintenance under 5ecure package, at no additional cost. The offer will be available only on the MU-X SUV and it will only be available on the BS4 models. The company has also made it clear that the offer is applicable with immediate effect till December 31, 2019.

Isuzu Motors India realigns launch plan of BS VI vehicles and extends Service schedules for existing vehicles

· BS VI Vehicles will be launched during 2nd quarter of 2020 – 21

All existing vehicles with Warranty or Service validity between March and April 2020 will be extended until end-May 2020.

: Japanese utility vehicle manufacturer, Isuzu Motors India, announced today that owing to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic and resultant inconvenience it has been causing people, has realigned its plans to introduce its BS VI models to the later part of the 2nd quarter of 2020-21. A firmer date will be announced closer to the time of launch.

Meanwhile, Isuzu Motors India has also informed its customers across the country regarding the current Service schedules and eligibility.

All vehicles whose warranty expires/expired during the period 15 March ‘20 – 15 April ‘20 will now have their warranty extended until end-May 2020. Similarly, all vehicles that were due for Periodic Maintenance Service during the period 15 March ’20 – 15 April ‘20 can now avail their services until end-May 2020.

The above is in line with the current prevailing situation and any changes to the same owing to the evolving scenario that may compel further changes will be announced separately.

Isuzu Motors India to recommence production from its SriCity Plant

· Receives approval to commence production

05 May 2020, Chennai / SriCity (AP)

: Isuzu Motors India, announced today that it has received approval from the authorities of the Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, to recommence production at its plant in SriCity.

The company has begun preparations to restart activities at the plant and aims to start supply of vehicles at the earliest. It will co-ordinate with all Component Manufacturers to serve both the domestic and export customers.

Isuzu Motors India completes 10 years of operations

The company announced its plan to manufacture and export 25,000 vehicles in FY 22-23

Isuzu Motors India will roll out 25,000 vehicles this year out of its SriCity plant near here, said a top company official.

Celebrating a decade of Indian presence Isuzu Motors India Managing Director Wataru Nakano said the company would produce and deliver 25,000 vehicles in FY23.

He said the company has successfully completed 10 years in India.

"It has been through many challenges, however, we have created a new niche in India with the ISUZU D-MAX V-Cross (India's First Adventure Utility Vehicle (AUV))," Nakano said.

He said the 'Made in India' products are now being exported to neighbouring and gulf countries.

The current year has also seen many internal production milestones being achieved including the rollout of the 50,000th vehicle, 5000th locally made engine and the 500,000th pressed part, from the SriCity plant.

Isuzu Motors India is a subsidiary of Japan's Isuzu Motors.

• Rajesh Mittal succeeds Wataru Nakano as the President of Isuzu Motors India. He will be the first person of Indian origin who will be steering Isuzu Motors India.
• Rajesh Mittal had joined the top management team as President of Isuzu Engineering Business Centre India and as Deputy President at Isuzu Motors India in February 2022.
• Wataru Nakano, will assume a new assignment as Head, Isuzu Vietnam Operations, from April 2023.
• Yasuhito Kondo who was responsible for the Regional Management Office at Isuzu Motors, Japan, takes over as Deputy President, Isuzu Motors India.
• Kondo brings his rich global experience of 28 years in the areas of sales operations and business strategy to India.

Isuzu Motors has inaugurated a new dealership in Bengaluru named Trident Isuzu. This showroom features a thematic vehicle display and is located at: B.Narayanpura Whitefield Road, K.R Puram.

• A new service center of Darjeeling Isuzu in Jaigaon, West Bengal is spread across 20,000 sq.ft. and is well-equipped with modern tools, six service bays, body shop, paint booth etc.
• Darjeeling Isuzu has been one of the key dealer partners for Isuzu in the eastern region of India. It has been representing Isuzu with a dedicated 3S facility in Siliguri, West Bengal for 4 years.

• The showroom is spread across 2,000 sq.ft. and located at Ayodhya Park, Shop No.10/11, Kawala Naka.
