Does frequently disconnecting battery wires damages the ECU of car ?. It happened that my car while ignition on was not showing any lights on the instrumental panel and thats why car ddnt start. So one of my friend suggested to dissconnect battery wires and it will reset the ECU and yes it worked , all lights turned on and car started but after some time car engine stopped running and once again lights on instrument panel turned off. So again i did the same thing , disconnecting battery wires, again the car started and stopped running. I did this procedure many times. So my question is whether my car's ecu is damaged due to disconnecting battery wires many times ?

It may, if voltage surge and fluctuations are present.
But here the car is starting and then switching off. So ecu can be ruled out.
Looks like a wiring issue/ loose connectors. Provided your battery is alright.
