Tata Motors launches new Indica Vista Drivetech4

1.JPG

Tata Motors has launched a new Indica Vista range today, the Indica Vista Drivetech4. The new range aims at improving the driving experience for its customers. The Indica Vista, essentially a second-generation Indica was launched in August 2008.

The new Indica Vista Drivetech4 is Euro-4 compliant in both petrol and diesel forms. The company claims that a new Eurotech gearbox for diesel and petrol variants ensures higher torque at lower RPM, reduces vibration and provides a better shifting experience. In addition, the gearbox is also claimed to ensure cooled exhaust gas recirculation for lower emissions and hence a longer life.

New features in the interior include a four-spoke tilt-adjustable steering wheel and height adjustable driver’s seat. 60:40 split folding rear seats allow for increased storage area when required. Entertainment gets a bump in the form of an integrated 2-din stereo system with Blue 5 and USB port compatibility. Dual airbags at the front and ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) add to the safety quotient of the car.

Tata has priced the new car competitively from Rs 3.57 lakhs for the Safire petrol range and Rs 4.4 lakhs for the Quadrajet diesel range (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Tata Motors Press Release

The all-new Indica Vista Drivetech4 now in market

Tata Motors has launched an all-new Indica Vista range, the Indica Vista Drivetech4, with a host of new features and a thrilling driving experience, to take the encouraging market response to the company’s new generation car to a new high.

The BS-4 compliant Indica Vista Drivetech4 has a specially designed Eurotech gearbox perfectly mated to the Vista Drivetech4 Quadrajet diesel and Safire petrol engines. It ensures higher torque at low RPMs, minimal vibration, precise gear shifting, longer engine life and cooled exhaust gas recirculation for lower emissions. All these together result in superior handling, exciting zip and a never-before driving experience. The same degree of refinement and driveability is also being offered on BS-3 engines.

The other new features include a 4-spoke tilt-adjustable steering wheel and height-adjustable driver’s seat enabling customised driving positions. The flexible 60:40 flip and fold rear seat lends added space for multiple needs. The fully integrated 2-DIN stereo system with Blue 5 and USB port enhance entertainment and communication convenience. Dual airbags (driver and passenger) and ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) make it one of the safest cars on Indian roads.

The Indica Vista Drivetech4 series, though in the premium B segment, has been competitively priced, starting respectively from Rs.3.57 lakhs for the Safire petrol range and from Rs. 4.4 lakhs for the Quadrajet diesel range (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The range has been launched with an exciting contest – available at Surprise Yourself......... – to spot that only feature the Vista Drivetech4 shares with the Indica, and win a Vista free.

The Indica Vista, Tata Motors’ all-new second generation car introduced in August 2008, has won the Jury Award at the Business Standard Motoring Car Of The Year Awards and was recognised as the Best Value for Money Car at the UTVi Autocar Awards.
