Tata Nexon, Harrier, Safari now more expensive than before.

Tata Motors had recently announced a marginal price hike of 0.6% across models and variants, coming into effect from Jul 17, 2023 onwards. The price increment was announced to offset the residual impact of the past input costs. As a part of the price hike, the company's ICE SUVs have become pricier by Rs.20,000.

The prices of Nexon, Harrier as well as Safarihave now been hiked by up to Rs 20,000, varying acrros different variants.

With the price hike in place, theTata Nexon is now priced from Rs 8 lakh, going up to Rs 14.60 lakh. The Harrier now starts from Rs 15.20 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 24.27 lakh. Prices for the Safari now range from Rs 15.85 lakh to Rs 25.22 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

Tata Motors says that it will offer price protection to bookings made up to July 16, 2023 and deliveries up to July 31, 2023.

Jeep Compass, Meridian prices hiked

Jeep has increased the prices of the Compass and Meridian SUVs by up to Rs 43,000 and Rs 57,000, respectively. Prices for the Jeep Compass and Meridian now start at Rs 21.73 lakh and Rs 33.40 lakh (both ex-showroom, India), respectively.

Mahindra XUV700, XUV300 Price hike Sep 2023

Mahindra has increased prices once again this year. A surge in demand for Mahindra SUVs coupled with higher input costs could be reasons for the recent price hike. In the earlier post we talked about the price hike of Scorpio Classic, Scorpio N and Thar. In this post, we will take a look at the new prices of XUV300 and XUV700.

Mahindra XUV300 sub-compact SUV, is offered in petrol, diesel and turbo-petrol variants. The company has increased the prices of some trims while others receive a price cut. Starting with the petrol variants, XUV300 W2 MT, the price continues at Rs 7.99 lakh. However, the price of W4 MT has been increased by 2.97 percent of Rs 25,000. It now stands at Rs 8.66 lakh as against an earlier price of Rs 8.41 lakh.

Tata Motors to hike commercial vehicles prices by up to 3% from October

Tata Motors on Monday said it will increase prices of its commercial vehicles by up to 3 per cent from October 1, 2023.

The price increase is to offset the residual impact of the past input costs and will be applicable across the entire range of commercial vehicles, Tata Motors said in a statement.

“The price increase is to offset the residual impact of the past input costs, and will be applicable across the entire range of commercial vehicles,” the company informed the stock exchange in a filing.

The company increased prices of commercial vehicles by up to 5 per cent from April 1 this year.

Kia India to increase prices for Seltos SUV & Carens from October

Kia is all set to increase the price of their popular mid-size SUV, the Seltos, and also the MPV Carens. The manufacturer announced that the price for both of these models will see a price hike from October this year. The price of these models will be increased by up to 2 percent.
