^ At amirti there are no hotels ,as I already mentioned it is a pure forest

So no food will be available except bajji, bonnda kind stuffs.

If we guys brought or prepared some foods to eat there, it that would be different kind of experience.

Guys. Your suggestion on home made food and sharing. Just a thought. But I know the pain of preparing food before a trip.

In that case shall we finalize Yelagiri. I found there are some restarants offering south/north/chinees foods.

So finally have we decided on a place?

Travelling with family means a lot of importance should be given for the route and availability of food. Since we are in a group the problem of security is addressed to an extent. Then considering the availability of good places to have food from. I vote for Yelagiri.

yes, in that case I would bring some food from here. Being a bachelor, my expertise in cooking is not so much .

Amirthi will be just fine, I just started the voting process.

Whichever the place, I am sure I will head out for the other place sooner or later, since there is such a strong dilemma about both places, Both have to be equally good.

Sethu, Had discussed enough of both Amirthi and Yelagiri with Maps, routes and other stuffs so why don't we put up a Poll seeking the majority of the interested crowd to freeze upon the option between two??

Once we arrive at the majority then we can look for the opinion of others who choose the other place.

Need to go & check. When I went there last time with my friend from Chennai. there was a flood. so we are not permitted to reach Falls but we enjoyed that climate & places a lot. while we are taking some snaps on the road a deer jumped from somewhere & crossed the road in seconds. So not able to capture in camera.

Will try to upload those pics by coming tuesday.

If possible I'll go & check by Aug 1st week.

It is just 35-40Km from my place. I'll check with friends about water there. I think we have enough time.

If needed I'll check before one week from the event
