Still i haven't finalized my ICE setup, So posting it here too

My Requirement as Follows!

Head Unit - ALPINE / Pioneer ?? Model Please

Speakers - JBL / Polk ?? Model Please

Amplifier - JBL / ALPINE ?? Model Please

My Budget is 25K Max & cannot strech more.

I need more thump without woofers. So Please suggest me the Best Deal !

try this, this should fullfill your need

Head Unit - Pioneer - dont remember the model no, but it has usb,aux and 2 pre outs, its a 2009 release

Speakers - rear: polk db691 , front:jbl 608C

Amplifier - JBL gt5-a604
this should fit your budget, i suggested components because you mentioned you need thump without a sub

Are you talking about DEH 7050 UB, DEH 6150 UB & FH 6050 UB [Double Din] ?

i got the doubledin installed in my friends swift, looks cool but the display and other stuff are confusing, better stick to single din,
go for 7050ub

absolutely, unless until you want to give more funky looks to your ICE, go for double din else single din is easy to use and is better as well, have faced the same thing on my friends double din player, which works cool but is a bit confusing.And 7050UB is to go for.

i liked pioneer more than alpine, pioneer gives you more freedom to tune your head unit

+ what Ram told, overall experience with pioneer has been better with their service centres as compared to Alpine and also its tuning options are better too.You can also look at Blaupunkt which gives awesome systems as well.

And for Speakers what do you guys tell about.

I am confused between Illusion or Polk ?

Can anyone share your experiences ?

rear speakers, go for polk, and front jbl 608c

i would suggest you opt for the pioneer HU.

for front speakers, i would suggest illusion or JBL components. illusion sounds better than JBL.

for rear, i would suggest JBL or ground zero co-axials.

i think illusion audio is the best for components.and i strongly suggest you to go for it as you dont want to add woofer. but why not subwoofer??

Even i love Illusion over JBL. But i am not sure about availability of Illusion Electra 6.1 in Chennai.

And Subwoofers is NO NO as i have limited boot in i10.

@ zinam: i have seen subwoofers fitted on the parcel tray.

if illusion is not available, go for JBL or ground zero. IMO, they are better than polk.

HI Raj,

Yesterday i want to Radio Ware House Chennai for a demo.

I actually connected JBL GT5 625-C & Polk db691 in rear. That actually rocked the car without even Amplifier.

I will tell you the config which i have finalized after speaking to RWH chennai.

Head Unit - Pioneer 7050BT - Builtin Bluetooth - 17500 / 10800 (without B\W)

Front Components - JBL 265-C - 4800

Rear Oval - Polk DB691 - 5500

Amplifier - JBL - 7000

Sub woofer Polk - 5000

Wiring Kit - 2000

What do you think about this config?

I am yet to visit few more popular Audo experts in chennai!
