After 10 years my petrol fluidic verna's compressor failed.
After getting it checked got some solutions.
1. If compressor oil has turned black then the compressor, evap coil , condenser plus all the pipes needs to be changed.
FNG cost with genuine parts - 28k rupees with no warranty. (16k for compressor, 3k each for evap coil and condenser plus rest for pipes and labor)
Hyundai ass cost - 45k with 6 months warranty.
2. If compressor oil is normal then it can be repaired by replacing the electronic control valve.
3. If it still does not work then compressor needs to be replaced.
I paid 5500rs for this. Never ever trust anyone who says I will save you money by getting this repaired. I trusted this guy and didn't get a quote from him for this job.
One ac guy near my home told me the same and quoted me 4500rs but I didn't trust his work. So I grossly overpaid. Cost should be around 4000rs.
