@ Akash Yeah i used to go to college in my car daily. For me no problem many guys come in cars like Cr-v , Innova , Swift , i20 etc etc!

But now going to college in bus only , so from now my running will reduce considerably.
Dont you have any mod plans in mind. Atleast go for pillar taping and boot spoiler. These minor mods will make your already "CUTE" ride more adorable.

Yes buddy i have planned for an OE spoiler for my ride! But right now lack of Vit-M , and also talks of buying a new car going around in home! So waiting till dad takes a final decision.

And one more update: The fog lamp issue which i mentioned is only loose contact of wiring. Got it rectified at KUN Hyundai free of cost in 5 minutes.[thumbsup]

Dont go for OE spoiler, rather buy an aftermarket one and save bucks for some other mod. And dont forget to blacken the pillar. It will greatly enhance the looks of your ride.

But how about quality issues? OE spoilers looks like good quality material and paint job.

And also does having two sub-woofers in the boot affect the spoiler? I mean like rattling issues.

You can get a good quality spoiler in markets too. Since you want OE like spoiler, you will get a decent one easily, and then get it painted at A.S.S if you wish. I am using an aftermarket spoiler since part 2years without any issue.
Regarding the woofers, putting them in boot wont affect the spoiler, but due to bass and thump, some rattles are audible(only if theres any loose bit in the boot).

Hey cooldhaya,

I re-read this thread again for some details; could you please share in a bit details on how your experience with Hyundai has been so far? Any problems with servicing, spare parts availability and such?

No nothing as such 350Z. I am one happy Hyundai Verna owner. Spare availability is not a concern for Chennai as we have factory here. When my car bumper , bonnet had to be completely replaced i got the car back within a week. Now that's pretty fast right? A great performance car with good FE too , though lacks the safety features.

You looking for a Verna transform for your use?

Small updates:

1. My Bosch skoda type horns started sounding a bit differently again the second time! Again replaced it under warranty for the second time! Now my warranty has expired and if the horn goes kaput next time , i will have to spend Rs.500 to repair it![frustration]

2.My car went for a service again last week. No issues , the coolant level was a bit low and since it was her birthday wanted to give a clean wash both inside and outside. My other small complaints were:

* Both my ORVM'S were loose thanks to our bikers!
*The windshield washer was spraying water everywhere except the glass!
* The interior plastic panel below the driver's door became loose.
* The lower part of my front bumper was slightly out of position hanging a bit low.

The total bill was Rs.1700.

Rs.350- for topping all necessary fluids like coolant , battery fluids etc etc

Rs.450- Exterior washing

Rs.950- Interior shampoo wash( absolute rip-off but since my car seat covers were pretty soiled thanks to my Max i decided to get it done).

The SA advisor told next time the wiper blades needs to be changed as the wiping quality is not so good , i agreed to change it next time. Got my car back in a day , and the quality of cleaning was amazing! All my complaints were rectified! My car was like brand new again on her birthday!

Am a very very happy Hyundai customer! Their quality of service is amazing![clap]

Dhaya better change the wiper blades.
Prevention is better than cure.
As when i had gone to change the wiper of car to the dealer i could see a 2-3 cars having scratch on the windshield .
After that incident owner promptly came to replace the wiper blades.

Your car looks good. IMHO, the old verna looks better than the current one. I have driven it lot of time. My friend's verna recently got banged from the rear. Entire read end was damaged. Luckily no injuries to anyone. Inspite of this he has kept the car.
