Hyundai and Kia although partners in business, have the strongest base in regard to the number of engine options and the number of Transmission options, with recent in business being their iMT.
There are a number of issues that are addressed in recent times with Kia's DCT.( I am not sure how many members are in our forum with Kia Seltos). Like all DCT's , DCT heating is the main issue. (Even 2011 model Ford Automatics in India also had DCT's, with the same issue, and they identified the issue, and current-gen Ford, doesn't pose threat)
Started this thread, to gather info regarding issues faced by Forum members or their known ones, coz I am having an eye on Hyundai Creta or Kia Seltos maybe in a year's time.
Also, recent Sonet comes with 7-speed DCT, so the discussion here can alert many members and ones who are looking to buy regarding the same.
