Today car ac wasn't working. It was throwing hot air and after a minute I saw that the car is overheating. I parked the car and turned off the ac and the temperature guage came back to normal. Any ideas what could be the issue ? Car fan was running even after switching off the engine so fan's ok.
Will get it checked tomorrow.

@mayankdixit - flow obstruction[thumbsup]
Radiator was choked and when I searched my thread got to know that it was replaced in 2016 and I didn't get it cleaned in the meantime. Didnt know that this also needs attention. Will get the radiator cleaned in every car atleast every 2 years.

Radiator clean 800rs
Coolant 2 liters 640rs.

I had the audio upgrade itch since a week. The right front speaker's crossover was damaged because of water. The rear right speaker had lots of distortion so I was using them unplugged.
I had some work near Motor concept so I just went to take a quote but ended up getting things done.

Got front powerbass components speakers, 2 hi low convertors , cerwin Vega wires , 1 sheet each basic damp sheet on all door , water guard for speakers for 20k. It was all his choice and frankly I didn't negotiate much since work was proven but it's expensive.
Anyways the car didn't sound like this the way it is now so I am happy[:)]

Got the car dry cleaned and polished. Also got a CNG kit fitted in the car. there's no new car purchase in 2-3 years and 8kmpl mileage was really irking me.

Verna's AC has stopped working[frustration]
Upon checking looks like compressor has failed.

1. Ac guy said if compressor oil has turned black then cooling coil plus condenser also needs to be changed. Expense of 25k[frustration]
2. Hyundai ass said the same thing but they will also change the pipes as well increasing the cost to 45k.
3. Another ac guy said that he will open the compressor and if the oil hasn't turned black he will change the EV valve which might work for 2 or more seasons costing 4k.
I also saw YouTube videos regarding the same and it checks out.
What to do now ?

will also change the pipes as well
If the compressor has indeed failed mechanically, due to lack of lubrication, pls change the pipes as well.
A grinding compressor will send metal shavings along with bad oil along the system. All Pipes should be changed and condensers, Evap core should be flushed properly using solvent, then nitrogen.

Whenever recharging gas or topping up AC, always ask the mechanic to add compressor oil. Most don't add unless asked to.

So the battery gave up after 32 months and around 30k + kms.
View attachment 261669

Pro rata system is not that much beneficial. Had to pay 3600rs for the new battery. The dealer told me new one is now 4600 rupees and thus i saved 1000rs. Don't know if he was telling the true rate
Battery have up in 36 months and not even 20k kms was covered.
100% planned obsolescence [frustration]

I need to sell the car this year. Battery guy suggested me to put my figo's 20 months old battery in the verna and get a new one for the Figo. Better option instead of getting a second hand battery.

Like deville said capacity is similar.
I was thinking to replace the brezza's battery instead of the Figo's. Brezza's stock battery is 3.5 years old.
