So here's the travelogue. My wife did a wonderful job of writing down everything in a book

from the time we left home.

Hyderabad - Kannur

05-Oct-11

15:00 Left Home - Route planned was to reach Banglore and take a night halt and start the

journey early morning again.

15:30 ODO Reading 20Km Reached Begumpet and stopped at Ashoka Wheels at Minister road for

getting my wheels aligned and also check out one of the tires that was leaking air slowly. I

used to Top it up every week but did not want to take a chance. Found out the valve had to be

replaced

16:15 Left Ashoka wheels and set out toward ORR that leads to NH-7 all the way to Banglore.

17:00 - ODO reading 45km - Reached ORR and spotted this beauty on the way.

Precise write up and nice pictures. It was unfortunate that you ran over the Dog. I have seen many lying down dead on highways and feel really pity for them. Most of us are familiar with the situation of Indian highways where things are certain to suddenly come out nowhere. So I think it is always best if we keep our speed in check.

Unfortunate incident but IMO unavoidable. I am guessing that you were plying in controllable speeds. Again you can just pray and move on.

Nice t-log btw.Need some more pics to treat the eyes [:)]

Good set of Pics yaar,

Feel sad for the dog. We can't do anything for this kind of unfortunate situation.

Expecting more pics from you[;)]

Yeh I feel sad too. I have always been fond of dogs and I have 8 of them at home. :)

The damage was minimum, my number plate broke and the bumper kidn of dislodged on the side. But again I am glad the dog survived too.

I will be putting up the rest of the travelogue today or tomorrow. Been very busy of late.
