How To Become An Automobile Designer?

I know I am too ambitious but no matter what this is where I am going.

One of the best bet in present Industry is energy efficient designs especially in transmission and engine section.

Unfortunately we get carried away with aesthetics part

Efficiency is different for everyone. For me its more power from less fuel.

Now I have a week to chose my stream for tenth,and I am really concerned. Goal is the same,to be a car designer. So I will opt for humanities. Ok right?
And now I am comfy sketching with pencil,I think now I need to go to the next level. Any idea? I mean anything from art classes to spray paint. Should I go to PS?

Automobile design starts right from a small screw design/material selection, drivetrain, powerplant, body, chassis parts, electrical and electronics, etc etc.
Out of this never ending list which one do you wish to design?

No not the engineering part. Only the exteriors and the body of the car.
