Gr8!! You should join Honda engineering team!! This makes the car almost perfect in its class!

Also my car just completed 6 months but i have only did 3000 km yet. According to compnay 3rd service is at 10k km or 6 months. Since i only did 3k km should i wait for another 2-3 months or do the 3rd service now? If i delay it will it impact the reliability of the car?
What all things will be changed in 3rd service?
Haha, you joking ? [;)]

and about the service dates, get your car to the svc before the service date and ask them for extending the service dates, so that you can get proper services on Km rather time. !

Delaying on time won't be having any impact on the car, but do keep your car serviced on correct km interval. That's where the wear and tear happening .

Regarding the damping treatment you did it only on the 4 doors or you did it on the bonnet also?
Will be doing it on the Bonnet also[;)]

Excellent DIU job Vishnu...

+1 to your efforts and dedication..
Thanks alott mate [:)]

Ever since Test driving Honda Amaze, That one problem haunting me was the cabin noise [cry]. Though not everyone noticed it, some so called enthusiast friend's of mine, showed their pity faces, as they just got that only one reason to point out on My car[frustration].So, Idea of Damping the whole car came into my mind and DIY'ed [evil]
Great DIY. Appreciate your dedication and effort. That solves the most talked problem of a great car. Hope i will do them to mine someday. I was kinda worried that with great power , the NVH levels were the only issue which distracts me .

This is a brave effort vishnu_vichu. why can't Honda do it especially when they know that a lot of potential customers are going to be put-off by the noise in Diesel? When I TDed Diesel, the noise and vibrations were too much. A lot of it came from below the dash. Hoping that your upcoming treatment for bonnet will bring more improvement.

hey guys ,
My chennai programme for accessories fitting is postponed to the coming weekend. So after that drive i will be in a position to write a detailed ownership review covering all aspects and with all pics.
As of now i have driven 300 kms in 3 days covering mostly city drives. I am certainly amazed with the performance of iDTEC except for the noise [surprise]
Important aspect of amaze that deserves a clap is the back row seating positions. The angle at which the seats designed are so comfortable and deserves special mention. The long distance journeys are hassle free hereafter for my family [clap]

Congrats inian..Wish you many more happy miles..Waiting for your ownership thread..Its the sliver color right? The car looks great. Is this a E Model? One immediate that you could do is to add a wheel cap which enhances the exterior look.

hi vishnu
even I did the same kind of sound damping work on my car car my self.
I used wurth damping mats. I damped all four doors, boot area, underneath bonnet and A-pillar . engine sound has reduced definately.
I also changed the front speakers. I installed Rainbow Audio two way component with cross-over . Now the music sounds really good. will post some pics in my ownership thread.

Hi Buddy,

I have a question regarding upgrading the Horn.

Can we take the power output directly from the pin connecting to the OEM horn (bypassing the OEM horn) and directly split and connect to the upgraded Horns for power? Do we need any sort of relays for this?

I heard from the Honda accessories shop, that we need to cut some wire behind the steering wheel (wire from the horn switch to the horn) for upgrading the horns and this will void the warranty by default.

By the way with this funny weak horn Honda is going to end up in more claims!!! as no one is responding to this weak horn..
