For years we have used car door which have had hinges.But now say bye bye to hinges thanks to Jatech a California based LLC company which specializes making a new type of car door.

I can recall watching this video somewhere on our forum. It’s indeed an amazing technology in car doors but I’m unsure whether I’d take risk to have anything like this as aftermarket fitment on my car. Although for those who’re interested, must visit the FAQs answered on their website. BTW, Cortina, this provides us an inspiration to create another thread on various car door styles. What say?

Have seen their ad. I wouldn't go for it or buy one with this feature. I don't want to expose the car by opening 2 doors when opening only one door is enough.

Thanks for the idea but since all doors based on hinges so I will classify even Diablo's door as a variant of hinge door.

I saw this advert somewhere and I must say after reading their FAQ advert I am still not comfortable with this door type.
