Hi Everyone,
I'm Peter. This is the same introduction I posted in the old forum.
I was born and brought up in Goa and have lived there most
of my life. I've done my schooling and junior college in Goa and
further studies in Chennai and UK. I'm a seafarer by profession.
I came to know about TAI through a scrap sent to me on a popular social networking site.
Obviously my passions have to include Cars & Bikes. I've been
reading all the Auto Magazines since my school days. I read the road
test of the RD 350 and decided I had to have one. In fact my first bike
was a RD 350, though I learnt riding on a Bajaj M50 and then rode my
friends RX100, my brothers KB100 and my sisters Sunny and Kinetic Honda
before getting my own RD. After that I've owned a CBZ, a RX100 and
currently an Activa and an Enfield 350.
I learnt driving in a Hindustan Trekker. Then I drove a Tempo Trax and
a Premier Padmini before buying my very on Fiat Uno. This decision was
made based on the comparison between the Zen and the Uno in an Auto
Magazine. Despite everyone advising me against a Fiat, I went ahead and
bought it. I never regretted it. I sold it after doing a Lakh Km and
bought a "New Siena" 1.6 ELX (Later re-named Petra), which I still use
till today. During my time in UK, I owned a Ford Escort (Worst Car) and
an Audi 80.
