Some upgrade time. Was running 100/90 without relay. With relays and goodies lying here and there, made a kit and installed them.

Roots relay. Was 400 bucks some years back.

Hidden everything under headlight.

Difference is tremendous. Before, it was not working in full potential.

2015-04-06 21-59-52.jpg

Now very much blinding [evil], but leveler set to 4/lowest and using 90% of the time low beam only.

Ordered a set of frameless from Amazon.in and was wondering why it was taking long to deliver. and came a big package in GATI parcel service.

The package big enough to hold 50 of these without packing [frustration]

Old vs new. Same stuff, different packing, different seller.

Wiper arm bit rusted. Repainting soon.

2015-04-05 08-49-21.jpg

Looks better and performs similar to Bosch regulars.

2015-04-05 08-50-03.jpg

Nuts nuts. Wheel nuts. 15 a piece.

2015-04-06 12-31-20.jpg

Few of the old nuts were rusted and broken.

After install.

When you had removed the cowl pannel, you could have also upgraded the washer jets to new Swift's. They have 3 jets each.

Which make are those wipers.
PS: I can see the fuse box cover missing.

Wagon R also comes with the 3 point ones. Bought one recently for Brio. Current ones are working fine with good spread. Once they are gone, may buy 3 point ones.

Wipers are regular Chinese stuff bought online.

Fuse box cover was missing since delivery. Only knew it had a cover after 2-3 years after Aditya pointed it out. Every time forgets about asking cover at MGP.

You go Killippalam, you get most Maruti parts within 500 m radius. MAS on top of Yamaha Showroom sells old Maruti model parts, the guy knows of compatible parts. You could easily find compatible stuffs. Near the pump there is Kakkassery Automobiles. You get most car parts, even Toyota. They even got Minda clear lens side indicator for ond Zen. Then Swaraj. They also got wonderful stock. 200 m after that comes MGP near HDFC bank. Search these places and you will get everything for sure.

Estilo go 2 2-point sprayers.

Went back to the same guy who changed the brake pads some months back. Like his pinpoint precise diagnosis skills. Went there just to check the drive shaft and he diagnosed some minor issues with nothing with drive shaft. Gave for a full service. Workshop name was Sreehari Automobiles. Work quality was good and rates are reasonable. Issue was handling with dirty hands and steering was dirty.

Did a periodic service, oil change, brake, suspension and steering overhaul.

Engine Oil x 3.5L ₹ 980.00
Oil Filter ₹ 90.00
Steering Rack Bush ₹ 102.00
Steering Boot ₹ 108.00
Grease ₹ 75.00
Stabilizer Bush Kit ₹ 168.00
Strut Kit x2 ₹ 640.00
Park Light Bulb ₹ 16.00
Water Pump Belt ₹ 139.00
Strut Plunjer ₹ 268.00
Rack Button x3 ₹ 30.00

Labor:
Periodic Service ₹ 950.00
Brake Overhaul ₹ 650.00
Suspension Overhaul ₹ 950.00
Steering Overhaul ₹ 750.00

Total Bill: ₹ 5900.00

He changed one of the conked LEDs with regular bulb [frustration] Bought Philips Blue Vision W5S bulb. Yet to install.

Did wheel rotation and alignment at Travancore Wheel Club. That place losing charm now. Low stock, lack of dedication with staff. Vichu lost one of his Raiden hub caps there.

Wheel Alignment ₹ 300.00
Wheel Rotation ₹ 100.00

Did an AC checkup at Cochin Super Coolers, maybe the best car AC guy in Trivandrum. Referred many people that place and all of them were happy with that place and this was the first time I was going there. Did gas topup, which took just over 15 mins. First time checking AC since the car was delivered. There was significant difference in cooling. Full hot car takes 3-5 mins for deadly chills. Hands are getting numb now because of the cold.

AC Gas Topup ₹ 600.00

Does a/c checkup include cooling coil cleaning ?

If not, you could have got it cleaned. Which will make significant changes in cooling efficiency.

BTW what is Strut Plunjer..

Can you tell me where Cochin Supercoolers is located?
Also if your tyres are MRF- Try Rohini Tyres-MRF exclusive at panavila.
Great service there.
Travancore is not having the same quality in service as it used to be earlier.

Cochin Super Coolers is in Kowdiar-Pattom Road near Envestnet. Opposite side between Envestnet and Axis Bank, near Persian Durbar.

Still going Travancore because of the ease of access and less rush. Still they are not as good as before.
