Damn, that's such a horrible crash and also the Hell's angel has really got some major injuries, but still its nice to know that your brother hasn't got any injuries.
One more question:-
Will you people have to pay for the repairing of the wall too?

Rest being true,I am quite angry with your brother too, why?
If he was feeling sleepy then why he took the wheel?Instead he would have washed his face once and then driven.I too make out full night drives and they are quite easy too, just get some tea after every 2 hours and drink cold water and wash your face whenever you feel sleepy.

WHO SAYS GYPSY AND GRAND VITARA ARE RUGGED VEHICLES,JUST ASK THE MARUTI GUYS TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE HELL'S ANGEL I can bet, this car will beat even a Hummer in the endurance test..

My estilo has checked them.. check the accident thread . [evil]

Got the car repaired and now running fine. Second mail hit the point, I threatened I'll call Maruti guys. They called me when I was en route to Hercules for fight. Workshop guy there checked and confirmed all the flaws and asked to leave the car there. I declined that as the car was in utmost need. He asked to bring the car at my convenience. Rectified the shaft issue then itself. It was loose disc unit. Also replaced the door lock lever.

Gave the car a week later, and asked them I want it in 2 days itself, and unlike other instances they gave it as promised. Bonnet repainted and drive shaft regreased and boot changed. Bonnet painting is now OEM quality, but rubbing compound everywhere else. Didn't fight for the extra bill amount or the plastic clips, just wanted to get out of there. Never going back to any ASCs again.

The shoddy paint job.

Broken door lock. Cheap though this shouldn't be happening at SVC.

The supposedly replaced strut assembly and stabilizer bar.

Good to see the angel back. But surprised over the quality of door lock pins. Accept that Maruti has flimsy plastics but in my car, it really isn’t so weak.

The way they handle cars at SVC can damage even the German beasts. The fuel lid was wide opened, bending the hinge and the SA closed it with adjustments and we were not able to open it at petrol bunk and had to force open it damaging the paint around. Had to adjust the lock and all, now working fine. We never broke any of the 4 levers in almost 5 years of owning the angel [frustration]

Great, did you do some DIY for rectifying the steering issue..

After wheel rotation did you get the alignment done..
If not get it done because it will cause unusual wear of tires..

Battery replaced:

As expected and every workshop's failure, culprit of starting issue was dead battery itself. The Amaron Flo lived up it's life @ 3 years 11 months. One more month remaining according to warranty, Prorata discount came around 87 rupees. Battery dealer checked and confirmed 2 cells dead. Decided to buy the same version, quoted 3.8k, another 300 off if I return the old battery, thought of keeping it for inverter (if failed later) (Exide was in the wrong side of 5k with only 3 year warranty and Bosch had only 2 year warranty and 4.5k price range). Fixed Amaron Flo 42B20L itself. 2+2 year warranty. Battery guy was great, gave battery for almost 800 less than other Amaron dealer, asked to return old battery anytime and he will pay the discount any time.

New pedals:
After fedup with the old ebay pedal which used to fall down every now and then was searching for new ones. Two close buddies of mine fixed a great set od pedals in their ride, bought from ebay itself, one job done by myself. I was viral about getting same for me, but to my bad luck ran out of stock with the seller and other sellers were selling them at unjustified prices 2.5k for 900 rupee pedals. Finally one of the guys decided to sell off the pedals for an OCC cross design like pedal. Bought the old pedals from him.

These ones got cross bars behind them unlike the 4 clamps usually found in other pedals. They stay firm in place.
