The finishing looks as neat as possible. Looks almost like a factory fit. Great work. If the full steering wheel was wrapped, it would have looked complete.

December 2021 - Installing Cabin Filter
Bought a cabin filter from MGP, which turned out to be the wrong one. Listed as Zen Estilo gen 1 and 2, Wagon R gen 1 and A-Star. Gen 1 Estilo never came with cabin filter, so I doubt the first gen Wagon R. It came with a plastic cover for the filter box. It might fit A-Star and second gen Estilo. Part number 990J0 M 67LS0-010 - ₹ 370.00
It had a proper plastic frame, unlike other OE cabin filters. Tried my best to squeeze it in. Even made the opening bigger. Unsuccessful.
Bought cabin filter for Alto K10.
Purolator PI-2320 - ₹ 292.00. Got for ₹ 270.00 from Kakkassery.
Install location.
Perfect fit. Tested for air flow, and surprisingly it was covering up the whole surface and doesn't actually need a cover, but would add one for sure to complete the aesthetics.
Finally washed after spending time in garages for AC work and seat cover install.
Installed back the speaker/enclosure after replacing the terminals with new MX ones.
And returned the car.
Odo stands at 96.4k. Hope it will reach the milestone soon.

Fifteen-year tax was going to expire by December end. Renewed it online. Vahan site always gives heart-attack moments. Error always pops up after completing payment. Then have to use the payment re-verify option, which is unknown to many. It will get updated by night or next morning, so always better not to do it the last minute.
Five- Year Road Tax - ₹ 8,600.00
Cess - ₹ 100.00
Surcharge for Credit Card Payment - ₹ 71.86
Total - ₹ 8,771.86
Validity extended till December 2026. Fitness/re-test in April 2022.

Most of the services are available online now. There is even some listed as faceless service in which services like ownership change, hypothecation cancelling, etc. can be done without producing physical documents at RTO using Adhaar authentication. For mobile number-based authentication, documents can be sent over post to RTO or can be deposited at box or counter at RTO. Life has become easier now. (Services vary from state to state due to the discretion of state RTOs).

March 2022 - FASTag
Bought Paytm FASTag. Paid ₹350, ₹100 for the tag and ₹250 wallet balance.
Charcoal black tint after 15 years.
Didn't remove from windshield and quarter glasses.
Removing glue residue.
Looks bald without the strip.
Stuck the tag. Out of focus.

Bought back in September 2020 and sitting somewhere in the parts bin and finally ready for install. Recap here.
Removing bumper after AC job for the first time. One of the horns not installed the way I did.
Installed new pair, replacing old cracked and rusted ones.
Tested okay.
Looks good.

New number plates. Bought from Sagar Number Plates, Chennai. Shipped and delivered in 2 days. ₹ 450.00 inclusive of shipping. Packing was too good.
Hunt for some OE parts. Checked with MGP, Karamana and as always they helped to find where it was available.
Parts were available at MGP Thiruvallom, which was their main stockyard and was huge. Read Google reviews about their laziness and wrote down the part numbers from Boodmo and they were happy as well. Couple of items were not in stock there as well and suggested booking at the nearest MGP so that they can arrange and deliver it there to my convenience than travelling all the way down there.
Got OE wheel nuts. Aftermarket ones would rust in no time. There were two types, open ones and capped ones, latter one for exposed application without wheel cap. Alloy wheel variants get a different nut with a flange and proper chrome plating and 10-12 times the price. This one costs ₹ 14.00 each. Got 16 of them. Part number 09159M12042.
A fistful of nuts.
Long pending item, the rear quarter glass garnish, which was lost long back in 2019 brush-with-the-motorcyle incident. Clips were not in stock. Found fitting the clips with quarter glass in was pretty tricky.

Seetha Stores, ultimate destination for fasteners in town. You name it, they have it. Maybe the oldest nut and bolt shop in town. Prefers going there during their closing time so that I can order/pick stuff of my choice, and other times, would be crowded with a minimum of 10 customers at any given time.
Got a bunch of flange nuts and bolts and some Allen bolts.
Stainless steel Allen bolts.

Always prefer without holes. Specifically mentioned on order.
Correct way. Because it may or may-not align with your car holes. If not, well, it will look ugly, and still it would be needing 4 new holes.
