So bad roads and hot drive.
so i need to find a suv for sure.!
It looks really awesome!!! Mod jobs will make it a head turner.

Congrats, One of my favorite vehicles.
How about this - looks like a pajero right
This one looks like a pajero. Nice mod job!
Did compare the finishes with the Pajero and its nearly a look alike. One can spot differences though when they have a second look.

Re: Sierra - turbo!

Hey Ilango,

Congrats yaar..! It looks great.

Got an Idea [OT] :
You can search for such vehicles, modify/restore them and I am sure you can make out good money from these cool projects, Its Fun too..!
I am confident that many people have this idea in mind but hesitant to explore due to the pain involved in it. But you can do all these and get paid for all that pain, talent, innovation that you show in each vehicle, keeping the cost low...!

So you can be a one-stop for off road lovers to shop their ready made dream vehicles from you.You can count me, I am IN.

Congrats iLango, first the Accent now the Sierra! Going good.
IMO please mount the spare wheel on the rear door, it will add to the beauty of the vehicle.

Thanks man , but its not a easy job. You need to bargain deadly like a car broker which i dont like . always i get a car at reasonable rate and sell at some loss. this was the case with last 2 cars.

Eg for the sierra , no one will buy for 1.25L though you maintain so good.

But i got them as the car had looked after so good.

congrats Ilango! I always thought you were only going to settle for a Safari/Sierra. Latter one happened! Enjoy!
infact was looking for a cheaper safari. didnt get any. got them.

People find difficult to get in and out of this.

safari is curved at all the ends and have modern day looks too. [thumbsup]

All the best ilango. The colour its really awesome
thanks man. i though it was some custom paint , later in rc too it was mentioned as M.green. magic green!

Spare wheel is in rear door!!

the fan pully housing is worn out and top of that not available in any store.

i mean its available in plenty , but its some cfcde company and not good. hunting hard for tata/telco product.

ever been on road ?? hehe i drove 468 kms to be exact from the seller home to mine.
and he drank a 31.5L of diesel!

Tyres are in bad condition and no serious offroad now. not even drift.

drift will be tried an hour before replacing the tyres!!

timing belt changed. bearing, fan pully bearing etc changes as only that in the whole of the car need replacement.

the traces of oil is found in turbo. so it needs attention with in a year or so! will be done when am done with some good enough driving with the beast!

Thanks linking for the wishes. yeah indeed the colour is good one.!

Guess what did i found today in door pads??

its chamois leather to clean the car body! :)

why not.
its decade old engine.
same as in na sierra / estate/ sumo.

the turbo unit engine is same as in tcic safari/ and present sumo victa with different diesel pump.
since victa has a different diesel pump its torque is 220nm where as in this sierra its 190nm at 2300 rpm
