just came back from city. was cruising in city at 40 kmph in 4th gear...
suddenly got an increase in mileage from last 13kmpl (in city) to 21 kmpl and remained between 19 to 21 kmpl until i came back....
handling is good for me..
steering control are very helpful in city but still distract me little bit.

only one thing bothering , as i am not 6 ft and it has coupe type rear , not able to see anything back..

@Darshan - its certainly a RAt but i wonder how did it manage sneak into glove box. Is there any loop available?

Yeah .. Diesel car's 2nd service is between 9k-10k kms or 1 year, whichever is earlier.

stats from autocar india magazine august 2011 edition
fluidic verna has not used its 126ps engine properly, tall gearing doesnt help in performance so even 90hp sx4 diesel beats it at in gear acceleration figures

i dont think these figures would be a boon for us unless we use it for racing purposes. personally speaking a lot has been said on its poor handling and by my views and a few owners we havent had issues. maybe were lucky

:agree: i dont find handling is bothering me.
I would like to shift gears , if it has tall gear ratio. we just need to get used to it. every car cant be same.
the car is so powerful (diesel) , i dont need more. Enough for me as for indian roads.
one can definitely challenge civic or other powerful cars with this one.
Moral of the story -
I love my car , and it loves me back..
No matter how good or bad I'm or It is.

Agree with you completely. This bad handling thing is getting too over-hyped these days. Agree its not a great handler like Linea or Vento but again its not bad either. Even i have been driving a Verna for 2 years now and this bad handling has not disturbed me or my driving style till now.

drove my friends vento a few days back i find more feedback in the vento. but feel very very comfortable driving my verna or being driven around.
i guess my next car after i finish this loan in 2 years would be the new sonata or elantra if it comes in the fluidic design and especially a limited edition model with infinity audio id buy it blindfolded

Even I have booked my Black CRDi SX and still waiting for the beauty. I heard the production of diesel is increased after Diwali and the committed bookings are surely going to be finished speedily. [clap]

I got the call from showroom that I will be getting my car on 9th of December. Cross my finger that they stick to their commitments.

I seek help from experts regarding which film should I go for the windows and to what percentage? I have been told that the filming will be done at showroom only. I want to ensure that I get the quality one.
