Hyundai Motors in the recent years have made their mark in the international industry. At the Geneva Auto Show Hyundai showcased their new addition in their “fluidic sculpture” series the i40. Basically it’s a wagon built keeping the European standards of safety, space and interiors in mind at the R&D HQ of Hyundai in Germany.

With the i40 Hyundai enter the D-Segment with this mid-size wagon offering a number of engine options of which the notable ones are the 1.7 Crdi producing power values of 134bhp and the 1.6 GDI Petrol producing power values of 114bhp, if you look closely to our previous post on the Hyundai ix35 you will notice that they share the same engines. These engines do not just exhibit power but also prove to be economical and greener with low emission values.

Hyundai plans to keep the i40 top notch with features like reclining front and rear seats, heated steering wheel for that chilling winter day, automatic windscreen de-misting system, rear view camera, Xenon HID, Day time running lights, Lane keeping assist system are just a few goodies you would expect in this wagon.

Launch will be on the second quarter of the year for Europeans markets only; this one does not plan to make its US debut one of the spokesperson said. Later the year Hyundai also plans to launch a sedan model.

With futuristic design and economical yet powerful engine the i40 has charmed our hearts. Not to forget the massive luggage space of 553 litres expandable to 1719 litres when seats are folded.

That is a Ferrari 458 Italia HELE (High Emotion Low Emission), there is no difference apparently. All is under the hood.

The skoda looks so hot. Someone at Ferrari must've been in a real cheeky mood to come up with the HELE (High Emotion, Low Emission) tag :D
The i40 looks all grown-up and makes me happy with its options list.

I still don't know how and why Honda are dragging their feet over introducing the diesels in their product range

The SLK tantalizes the eyes with its drop-down effect and that muscular front end.

The Ferrari 458 Italia HELE (High Emotion Low Emission) is all the same, except for a newly-introduced engine stop-start system, and some electronically-operated gubbins that help lower the CO2 emissions by at least 11% over the standard car. Not that many would care!

exactly! why would someone care about stop/start tech in a 458? that is just weird.

Jaguar XKR-S coupe

5.0 litre Supercharged V8, 550 bhp, 0-62mph in 4.4 sec and a top speed of 186 mph (300 kph) is what the car in question is capable of. Jaguar’s own video of the XKR-S says it all. Its as exhilarating as the coupe itself.

And now comes my favourite.

Powered by the 6.2L V8, C63 AMG delivers 451 bhp and 380 lb-ft torque. It is also considered as the world’s fastest 4 door luxury sedan. Another 481 bhp version will also be available for the customers who want more power.

Compared to the 2011 C63 AMG, Mercedes Benz has given the 2012 variant a slight facelift, new LED lights and 18” alloys are some of the upgrades.

2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG will be available in both sedan and wagon variants in the European market, whereas US customers will only get the sedan variant.

This new 335bhp Audi RS3 has a turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine with a seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission and can take on the road in style. The car has been shown around previously too.

It's simply three-wheeled perfection, and here's why: There's a fuel-injected, 115-horsepower V-Twin engine sitting smack-dab between the spindly wire-spoked wheels up front, mated to a Mazda five-speed gearbox that sends power to a single rear wheel. You're basically strapping yourself to an engine. Seating for two comes standard, as do the roll bars. Apart from that, it seems that the buyer has numerous options to make the Threewheeler his or her own.

For the 2012 model year, the Kia Rio has become longer (3/4-inch), wider (1-inch) and lower (1/2-inch). Kia has pushed the wheelbase out to 101-inches, an increase of nearly three-inches over the outgoing Rio.

Available as a five-door or three-door, the 2012 Rio is offered with a choice between four engines and three transmissions. The two gas-burning options are a 1.25-liter inline-4 producing 83 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 87 pound-feet of torque, or a 1.4-liter four-cylinder that produces 108 hp and 100 lb-ft of torque. Two turbocharged diesel options are available; a 1.1-liter triple that generates 81 horses and 69 pound-feet of torque or a 1.4-liter unit producing 89 hp and 159 lb-ft. Both diesel burners and the 1.4-liter gas engine are paired with a six-speed manual while the 1.25-liter gas-sipper gets a five-speed manual transmission. The 1.4-liter gasoline engine is also available with a four-speed automatic.

Ahh nice car concepts and facelifts, I think that if Hyundai launches its i40 here in India then I'd grab one for myself coz I will be maintaining a low profile, any specific details about these beauties? or is it just to showcase future cars.
