Ford Planning Ertiga Competitor Based on B-Max

Yesterday night I was watching Autocar Show when Hormazd told about the plans of Ford to launch an Ertiga rival based on B-Max Concept. Sounds quite interesting that Maruti Suzuki Ertiga isn’t yet launched but competitors are already awake and planning for an answer. Though Ford is still contemplating about the move and may highlight this car on Auto Expo 2014. But before, it is going to be unveiled at upcoming Geneva Auto Show on 5th March (The Geneva Motors Show 2012 Coverage).

Looks good and different without that B-Pillar and seat belt placed in a different way .. What I am looking forward from Ford is one vehicle with EcoBoost engine..

Looks awesome. Add Ford engineering to it and it becomes more so!

This shall beat Ertiga on all aspects but sales volumes, I am afraid.

Our community is so addicted to being loyal and going by sentiments that very few really care for the product itself. Pity!!

Examples:
1. Dzire always wins over Manza
2. Fusion & Getz does not get attention of general public and becomes flop models
3. Ritz remains average selling car, which is a very good package
4. Baleno goes for a toss even though a MSIL product, strange!
May be people can add to this list.

Many of them purchase car based on sentiments and on some clever salesmanship..

B-max looks like one more gem from FORD.

Car without "B - Pillar"...will certainely needs some good sales guys to convince customer on safety grounds.

The B max looks stunning and will be overall a better product then ertiga for sure now all depends upon price and kitna deti hain aspects. Hope ford doesn't goof up the pricing of their incoming cars becuase all comming cars are just sexy looking ecosport, mondeo ,and also the bmax .

Wow, i would love to see this in India. However, the key factor would be pricing which most of the times, Ford fails to hit upon.

As for Ertiga, i cant imagine such a mighty MPV with puny 1.3L engine.
