First Pictures: Hero Moto Impulse

These are the first pictures of Hero Moto Impulse after a grand ceremony for Hero's new brand identity took place in London with Ranbir Kapoor as a brand ambassador. Hero Impulse is a 149 CC bike which is capable to produce power of 13.8 BHP at 8,000 RPM and torque of 13.6 Nm at 6,000 RPM. The bike sports a five speed transmission system with a 12 liter fuel tank with a reserve capacity of 2.3 liters. Also it has telescopic fork front suspension and a monoshock rear suspension. Expect it to be available with the following colour options: Black, Blue Metallic, Sports Red, Leaf Green Metallic and Vibrant Orange.

I like it, But power and torque figures could have been better that than that. Its too little for something meant for off road terrain, especially when it weighs 120Kgs.

The Hero Impulse has been launched at 66,800/- ex-Delhi. Output is 13.2PS I believe. Still need to know the actual torque and power to weight figures to say whether this will work good Offroad.
