An initiative by Kerala State Electrity Board Limited.

They installed 16 Amp sockets on selected electric poles. Target audience is primarily e-Autos and two-wheelers who carry their own charger. Locations available on their app. Payment can be done on the app at ₹10.62 units per unit. Odd thing noted was some points were in narrow stretches, some in no stopping stretch near traffic signals and some right below scorching sun and rain without a shade of a tree.

Separate fast chargers are available for cars at select parking facilities. Found one at Shanghumugham beach parking lot. KSEB was one of the first (or may be the first) to install public EV charging stations in Kerala.

Ather Energy has announced a partnership with Southern Railways to set up electric vehicle charging stations across 10 Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) and Suburban stations in Chennai.

The partnership will provide Ather Energy a 100 sq.ft. dedicated space to set up a charging zone enabling the company to place three chargers in single location for both, two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

Chargeup has setup 35 EV charging stations in Mathura offering battery swapping services, leasing and financing options to EV buyers. The total number of Chargeup stations across India is now 300.
  • These stations will cater to both 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers. The new stations in Mathura will serve an estimated 700 drivers per day and provide a seamless and cost-effective transition to EVs.
  • The Chargeup stations in Mathura are being built in partnership with several dealers, including Madhu Dham, Shree Gopal Ji Erickshaw Agency, Vijay Star Impex, Mohan Shyam, Shivam Traders etc.
  • Chargeup aims to empower Mathura drivers with its Finance-Network-Technology platform and reduce their cost of ownership by up to 40% while increasing their earnings by up to 80%.
  • Advanced technologies such as software for battery management, real-time traffic alerts, and GPS-based routing assistance will be provided to local drivers subscribing to Chargeup’s plans.
