DIY: Changing Pulsar 180 UG4's engine oil!

My Pulsar 180 UG3 Manual says that the Oil Grade required is SAE 20W50 SG Grade or higher.
How come 180 UG4's recommend 15W40 Grade Oil? Or is it that you yourself selected that oil grade?

Don't you need to change the oil filter too?
