70Mai A500 Pro Plus Dashcam DIY

Well, I am not a DIY person,
But I thought why not give one shot at installing Dashcam in my car and learn something new,
if anything goes wrong I can immediately go to the Accessories market nearby and get it installed correctly.

It was a long time I was looking out for a Dashcam,
Was researching a lot and found the Kent Eye Dashcam very impressive only because of the feature that allows you to view the dashcam video live from any time and anywhere.
But due to budget constraints, I kept on searching for the next best product.

In the meanwhile saw a few DIY Dashcam installations by TAI-gers which helped in narrowing my search.

And shortlisted 70Mai A500 Pro Plus.

What an Amazing product!!!
2.7K HD Video
HDR
ADAS
Built-in GPS
Parking Mode
Lane Departure Alert
Motion Detection Alert
Beware of Vehicle Ahead
Easy and Simplest of DIY installation process
And many more features...

The Dashcam box comes with:
1*70Mai A500 Pro Plus
1*Mount
1*Power Cord
1*Dual USB Car Charger
1*Wiring Crowbar/ Pry Tool
2*Electrostatic Stickers
2*Adhesive Stickers with 1 already attached to the mount

Installation process looked a big task to me before starting,
But as I started the process, it was very simple and finished with perfection before I could realize it.

The DIY process:
1)Cleaned the windshield from Inside

2)Attached the Dashcam mount on the windshield. The adhesive Sticker looks sturdy and reliable.

3) Attached the power cord and concealed it within the roofline,

4) Opened the A-pillar using the wiring Crowbar/ Pry Tool.

The tool made it very simple to remove the Cover. There is a gap below in the pillar from where the cord was taken under the dashboard. I fixed the cord under the dashboard using a wiring tape.

5)Took the wire from inside the dashboard to the USB charger.

And Voila...
The DIY installation process completed

After using the dashcam for a few days I am rest assured that it's a Good Buy.

The video clarity in Day/Night is crisp and clear.
The inbuilt speaker is loud and clear and all the alerts are clearly heard.
The Parking Mode detects motion and alerts me when I start the car.
Lane Departure Alert

Beware of the vehicle ahead,
All the features work superbly.
