- Ford which was operating in the country since last 2 decades finally call it quits and shut its production lines in 2021.
- The semiconductor shortage has hit the automotive industry pretty hard and almost every OEM has unfulfilled backlog running into months. Industry experts feel that this situation may ease around the H2 of 2022.
