Customizing a Hotwheels model car - The DMC Delorean 'Back to the Fututre'

I added this beauty to my collection last week. One of the favorite cars to me from the 80's designs, with Gull-wing doors. So thought to give some details to her, specially to her wing doors.





'Success' or 'Failure', am in

I am planning to cut off the existing doors and make new openable ones
with acrylic or M-seal. I detached all the parts by grinding the head
of rivets under the body of the car.

Removed the door area by cutting and grinding with the help of Dremel.

I think its easy to do the doors with M-seal.

So its time for 'M-sealing'.

Filed down the excess m-seal.

Surely update this week. I was in search for the hinges for the gull-wing doors. For right now am posting an image of the door with completed window.

Guys I'm not satisfied with the end result. Anyway these are the updates. I used a piece of polyester cloth for the hinges. Still searching for good ones.
