Coverage: Datsun Redi-Go Makes Global Premiere in India

Hello Guys - I spotted the redigo testing around Tambaram in Chennai today. Couldn't click any pic as I was driving. The silhouette appears to be slightly bigger than the Mahindra E2O. From the front it appeared to be the e2o but the hexagonal grille made me realise that it's the baby Datsun. Looks like Datsun has retained the design of the concept intact in production version. Way to go!

That's great.
So friends, specially near to Renault-Nissan-Datsun plant to be active in the coming days to spy more such test prototypes. Since, this Redi-Go is expected to be next launch by this group & they will definitely try to encash this opportunity what they Kwid created with its long booking queues.

Any news from anyone on the redigo? I am not sure why Datsun missed this baby in the auto expo. Would have been a good time to showcase their baby Datsun. Did anyone in this forum spotted this car testing anywhere? When is the launch? Any idea?

As per reports, Datsun to officially launch the Redi-Go Hatchback on 14th April-2016.​

Redi-GO is indeed making its debut in India this year and will be officially launched on April 14 in New Delhi.

^^ thanks vm2011 for the updates, do not see much buzz around the Redi-Go, looks pretty neat with decent interiors, the stearing as well as speedo consul is from Go, if they price it decently like the Kwid, then Datsun has a winner.

We attended the global unveiling of Datsun's latest offering to Indian Market, The Redi-Go at TAJ, New Delhi. Redi-Go also is a hatchback and the pricing of the same is yet to be announced officially and bookings will begin from May-2016.
