How much does the Geolander cost per tyre? Dhaya here said that the rates are around 8K per tyre.
[shock]WTH 8K per tire . they are robing in middle of market . price should be 6.5k(max. 7k) but my friend got them for 5.9k(sweet deal) even we can get Michelin for 6.8-7.5k But then this is 2month old price . need to visit shop again .

8 k per tyre.

Daylight robbery.

I somehow always feel yoko's are overhyped, worthless and over-expensive tyres.

@ all yokohamaians
Sorry, no offence

@ AMG, I dont think so! Then what will you say about Michelins?
Ilango's 195 section 15 incher yoko A drive cost 4.4K while my Michelin 13 incher 185 section cost me 4.2K
I think Michelins are priced way too high!

Anyways, will be enquiring the rates for Safari tyres tomorrow in Pondy.

Brands in mind are MRF, Bridgestone & Yokohama. Michelins are out of consideration (budget problems). Will update by evening tomorrow

@mastersquall, your beast runs on 15" alloys right?

I have always been a Bridgestone guy.

Appolo is second on my list.

MRF, though is also nice.

I think its this rate around everywhere in Chennai. Yoko's for Safari cost 7.5-8k!

@ AMG Actually Yoko's are much VFM when compared to Michelin's , they are way too costly but extreme comfort!

@ Gokul No Safari DICOR runs on 16inch alloys and the price which i have said is also for the same , i hope TCIC also has same size only , i think 235/70 R16.

@ Cool

If you had read my post(s) carefully, you would have seen that the michelins dont even figure in my list.

I find them the second-worst after the Yokohamas.

@ OP
What about Hanhooks?
