Chinnar Wild Sanctuary Trekking - Help Needed To Plan

Hi, I am planning to do a trekking in Chinnar Wild Sanctuary (Kerala). I hope lots of our team members would have done it earlier. I would like to seek help and suggestions from you on how to make the trekking pleasant.

Hi, what help you need ? december is best time. you can do river trekking for 50/- and trek to trek to thoovanam waterfall for lesser. thekkady is also 2 hour away.

I would like to know how safe it is to stay in the guest house in Chinnar Wild Sanctuary with family in the night? Is it a decent place to stay? Planning to be there in Thekkady as well. I know it would be good to go for boat ride in the morning hours to see elephants. Other than this what activities can I plan in Thekkady for a day and night. Planning to stay in KTDC hotel in Thekkady. after a night in Thekkady I will move to Chinnar Wild Sanctuary and the next day and night planning to spend in Chinnar. Would be good if you can provide me list of activities that I can do in Thekkady, Munnar/Chinnar.

Hi sethumurugan, Unfortunately, I could not make it due to "Mullaiperiar Dam Issue" during that time. It was the place where there were lots of issues. Hence, I did not want to take a chance.
