Thousands of blue blistering barnacles! That looks sooo Chinese!

I ain't sure if it looks bad, but I must say, the bumper is just horrible.

To me it looks really good and grown up. But again, as 350Z said there are just renderings, hence the production model may look something different.

Crazy Cat, that is actually a rendering of Tavera, like I mentioned in Post #16 and #18 and it is possible that real model might look a way different than this.

Re: Chevy Tavera to Get Sonalika Engine?

GM has been on the look out for a BSIV compliant diesel engine for the Tavera for a while now but the search is finally over. At the second anniversary celebration of GM India’s Talegaon plant it was disclosed that ICML's Rover-designed 2.0litre common-rail diesel engine will slot under the Tavera's hood and from experience we know this engine is a dramatic improvement over what the Tavera currently offers. The engine develops 123PS of power and a very gutsy xxx Nm of torque which is the best in its class. Moreover its driverability and tractabilty make it very easy to harness all the potential from the engine which should revive interest in the GM's ageing MUV.
It’s a tale of two for General Motors with the company winning the National Safety Award for the second year in a row courtesy its Halol manufacturing plant and also celebrating the second anniversary of their plant in Talegaon. The Halol plant won the award under the Best Safety Systems while GM is also planning on setting up a Powertrain Plant at the Talegaon premises by the year-end which should make it the first plant for GM globally that will make both petrol and diesel engines together.

Not much of changes is seen in this model except for the new set of lights and front guard, but will again hit the markets for sure.

Just some cosmetic changes but the major change lies under the hood. Hope Chevy can catch with the market with this new model.

This is sure going to capture the cab segment yet again but there are no major apparent changes except for cosmetic work done on the front.

Look at the following spy shot, the interiors also remain the same.

Re: New Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3

is it worth launching this car now? it is so outdated. if at all they do launch it, it should be priced in bolero territory.

+1. Why Tavera? and Why now? When competitors are moving towards new age design and tech, why is chevy putting its money in something which looks like taxi from everywhere.
