What was the issue with GM's After Sales & Servicing? In fact, they are quickly coping up with the competitorsand offering attractive schemes, To say in my style, GM has caught the nerves of Indian Automobile Market.
I will not rate A.S.S 4/5, if doesn't have reach to masses. GM still has to show its A.S.S reputation.

Here, Not only the numbers but the attitude towards the customers is also counted. This is what the experience has been yet. At my visit to Chevy's Dealership last time, I was little disappointed with dealer but now after recent visit to Tata-Fiat and comparing the environment, behavior etc of both, I found Chevy to be a leap ahead.

Yes RSM!

Chevy has already reached masses, thats why they you are seeing lot of sparks & aveo in Bangalore.

Even there warranty is best in class, dealing with customer, models on display are all on higher side. The way they deal with cutomers, explainations given are all good.

Chevy is one of the cheapest brand to maintain after Maruti & Hyundai. So it deserves 4/5 [thumbsup]

Good to know that Chevy has improved on A.S.S. part and that may be the reason why we see so many sparks on road.
Also their 3yr warranty schemes on all their model and other offers are attracting many. And with the Beat, GM is surely going to make lot of money.

Okay there is a difference here!

U-Va & Spark has 3 years free maintenance package.

But Beat & other models of chevy comes with 3 yrs warranty.

I was mentioning about the 3yr warranty scheme only and not the maintenance package(which comprises of free oil change n all).

BTW thanks for info, i thought all chevys come with the 3yr maintenance plan.

I was expecting this report after seeing in orkut![lol] Great pics Zinam and good report 350Z!![clap]

The design and looks of the car looks futuristic indeed!! Seems to be a great car and good comparison too! I wanted to know the comparison results of these cars and the i10 wins here when it comes to performance! Seems the dash will be cool to view at nights. But the reflection of the dash during daytime is very obstructive to drive , i have personally experienced this.

And yes the tyres seems to be too small for the Beat , but never expected it to be scary!! Body roll quite expected due to its high stance. But great to hear Chevy's A.S.S has improved a lot.

Seems like GM has got their strategy right with great pricing of both the Cruze as well as the beat! Now for a few questions to Zinam!

How was the feeling driving at 150+?? I mean the stability and steering response?? And how would you rate i10 , Ritz and Beat in this aspect??

Then can i know the comparison of the real life figures of the FE of all the Hatches?? Atleast these three cars? Which is the best here again?

These are personal experiences and should be the reason for deciding A.S.S.

Even there warranty is best in class, dealing with customer, models on display are all on higher side. The way they deal with cutomers, explainations given are all good.

Oh, zinam. This is news to me that Hyundai is cheaper to maintain. Maruti, yes.
Please compare the spare price list.

Also the CSI Report. Hyundai is GM is much behind. Tata/Fiat as usual at bottom.

In my view, we should leave A.S.S part on owner's experience (as suggested by Vibhor).

I think we are going off-topic. Tyre size - I never felt the size of i10 to be small, but size of santro and waginR is much smaller.

Fine Akash. its not like that. But they do advertise like that!

How was the feeling driving at 150+?? I mean the stability and steering response?? And how would you rate i10 , Ritz and Beat in this aspect??
Thanks Dhaya!

Okay. Here I rate the vehicles on the scale of 1-5 (5 being the best).

On High speeds (150kmph) Ritz deserves the title.

Ritz - 4.5

Due to smaller tyres, i10 also is bit unstable, but not scary.

i10 - 4.0

Beat is a turn down. Because of the height & weight with puny tyres, it seems to be scary!

Beat - 3.0

Then can i know the comparison of the real life figures of the FE of all the Hatches?? Atleast these three cars? Which is the best here again?
And regarding Mileage

Being an ARAI topper Beat tops the list here.

Beat
City - 13km/l
Highway -16km/l

i10
City - 12.8km/l
Highway -16km/l

Ritz
City - 12.3km/l
Highway -15.6km/l

All these figures are my personal test figures under normal driving conditions. May vary depending on the driving style.

Thanks for those comparison figures Zinam! Seems Beat seriously needs a tyre upgrade first up. But after doing this then the mileage figures may drop down i guess. But still the Beat is good VFM!

The factory upsize may not harm much in mileage i think.

what about its drive train, I hope its normal like other cars , relying on belt.

I like the design minus the tyre (which can be altered). So the refreshing looks take me.

On given a choice , i wold prefer the new zen estilo.
reason , its drive train. k series is in chains , so even some drag or jerk in wrong gears like m the timing and perfectness in not even disturbed.
