Check engine indicator glowing continuously!

Hi everyone. I am owning a Chevrolet optra 2006, few days back i found some sort of indicator going on, i came to know that its a check engine light. Can anyone help me out with this.

have a great time here.

check engine means some problem with whole system , i mean there is some problem in some part of the system.

have to find them and then rectify

Or find it using a diagnostic tool , attaching them to the ecm!

This might have caused due to the Oxygen sensor failure.
Or blockage in the vaccum pipes.
If it was blinking then it would have been a serious issue.

The second stage would lead any unburnt fuel being dumped again to the engine and the exhaust gases again return to the engine, which may further damage the critical engine components.

On any occasion such incidents will generate error code, which will pin point the exact fault through On Board Diagnostics(OBD).

So better hurry up to the nearest A.S.S(Dealership).

This may be due to a small/ minor problem even like water sensor being activated in fuel tank or any major problem .In any case take the car to ASS ASAP.
