Wonder what those cops were asking that guy?!?! looks like this guy sure knows how to tackle those speed breakers (more like back breakers they are). The arrival of BV in Hyb was published in the Today's edition of Hyderabad Times

Maybe they are checking out interiors[:)] or maybe asking for license(that's the nature na)

ZR series would certainly cost BOMB!!!
Actually when your car is up for a tyre change company recommends you change the alloy wheels its around 45 lakhs total if I remember right,probably explains why most of the Saudi Veyrons have different alloys every year,but I am sure the Indian customer will be paying more than that thanks to taxes.

A fact the Indian consumer should know is that if you use 91 octane petrol(min requirement) for the car the engine goes into a safe mode(kinda like it saying yuck) & your launch control etc wont engage,so Veyron owners should use 95 octane above & god help you if you fill contaminated fuel.

And nice to see a Veyron in Hyderabad,must be a super pain to drive in India for sure

wow tht takes some balls to take the veyron over the back breakers!!
unbeleivable really - ill rather employ a few small crane lifts at all speed breakers i pass through - should be cheaper than fixing the veyron underbody :stupid:

The car was being driven by the official Bugatti test driver. That's why he could tackle the speed-breaker expertly.

Zero Bugatti Veyrons sold in India

Super rich Indians are known to spend millions to buy a car that not only give them exclusivity but also the thrill of speed. And hence, global premium super car manufacturers like Lamborghini, Ferrari have made their presence felt in India with one or two showrooms. But there were some, who were not very fortunate in terms of customer response.

Buggati Veyron, known as one of the fastest production cars in the world didn’t sell a single unit in India. Priced at over Rs 35 crore, the ultra-luxury hyper car failed to make it to anyone’s garage. Blame the slow moving economy and political instability for that. Just like the Aventador gets a couple of 'doctors' to repair minor bodywork damage or needs to be flown to the USA for major repair work, the Veyron's tyres can be changed on only one of two machines, one in the Middle East and one in the USA. This may be one of the things that deters an Indian from owning this superb piece of engineering in his home country.

Swedish car maker, Koenigsegg which was present in the Indian market since the last three years failed to sell a single car. This is the same story with Gumpert, a German sports car company. Slowing economy is not the only reason the car couldn't be sold in India. Not so very good roads and lack of high-end service backup are some of the other reasons. Alternatively, these super cars can be owned in other countries where the roads are in good shape and the service back-up is excellent. So it makes more sense to avoid buying these cars in India, until and unless you just want to win the “biggest showoff of the year” award.

A real wise guy would probably buy one in Middle east & get it here on carnet for some 4 to 6 months & take it back.There were rumours of one such Bugatti but then people dont know what they are seeing half the time.
But yes there are Indian Owners of these cars in other countries.
